Initial Setup: Bluetooth Connection
Follow these steps to connect your Studio Pro Wireless headphones via Bluetooth:
- Step 1: Activate Bluetooth
On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth ON.
- Step 2: Power On Headphones
With the Studio Pro wireless headphones turned OFF, press and hold the power button for approximately 8 seconds. A rapid flash of the blue and red indicator light on the headphones signifies that they are in Bluetooth search mode.
- Step 3: Connect to Device
On your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab Studio Pro" from the list of available devices to establish the connection. Once connected, you will hear two beeps, and the blue indicator light will flash slowly.
Visual Aid Description: The initial setup is illustrated with three steps. Step 1 shows a smartphone screen with Bluetooth settings enabled. Step 2 shows the headphones with the power button being held, and an indicator light flashing blue and red. Step 3 shows the smartphone screen listing "JLab Studio Pro" as a connectable device, and the headphones with a slow-fading blue light indicating a successful connection.
Connecting New / Additional Devices
To connect to a new device:
- Turn OFF Bluetooth on your previously connected device.
- Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device.
- Repeat the initial Bluetooth connection process (Steps 1-3 above) with the new device.
Notes:
- Bluetooth is a wireless radio technology sensitive to obstructions between the headphones and the connected device.
- For optimal performance, use the headphones within a maximum distance of 33 feet (10 meters) from the connected device, avoiding large objects like walls.
- Once successfully paired, the headphones will be remembered by your device and will automatically connect when turned on.
- Only one device can be connected simultaneously. To connect a different device, first disconnect the currently paired device via its Bluetooth settings.
- If the Bluetooth connection is lost, reconnect your device manually through its Bluetooth settings.
