Initial Setup: Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to connect your JLab Studio Pro wireless headphones:
- Turn on Bluetooth in your device's settings.
- Ensure your Studio Pro headphones are powered off, then press and hold the Power button for approximately 8 seconds. The device will search for Bluetooth, indicated by flashing red and blue LED lights.
- Select "JLab Studio Pro" from your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.
Confirmation: Once paired, you will hear two beeps, and the blue LED will flash slowly.
Pairing with a New or Different Device
To connect to a new device:
- Turn off the Bluetooth connection on the previously paired device.
- Turn on the Bluetooth connection on the new device.
- Repeat the initial setup steps (steps 1-3) for the new device.
Note: Bluetooth is a wireless radio wave technology sensitive to obstructions. The headphones are designed for use within 10 meters (33 feet) of your paired device, provided there are no major obstructions like walls. After successful pairing, the headphones remember the device and connect automatically. Only one device can be connected at a time. To connect a different device, you must first unpair the current device from its Bluetooth settings. If the connection is lost, you can manually reconnect your Bluetooth device.
Button Functions
- Volume Up: Single press.
- Next Track: Press and hold for at least 2 seconds.
- Volume Down: Single press.
- Previous Track: Press and hold for at least 2 seconds.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold for at least 2 seconds.
- Play/Pause/Answer Call/End Call: Single press.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second.
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double press.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to Initial Setup.
EQ Modes
Press both buttons simultaneously to cycle through 3 EQ settings:
- JLab SIGNATURE (One beep): JLab C3™ Signature sound with enhanced audio and bass.
- BALANCED (Two beeps): Even volume without additional amplification.
- BASS BOOST (Three beeps): Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
Charging
Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the headphones and a USB power source (e.g., computer or 5v/1amp adapter, not included). Ensure the USB port provides power.
- A solid red light indicates the headphones are charging.
- A solid blue light indicates charging is complete.
Important Notes and Care
- Avoid exposing the speakers to moisture or liquids.
- Avoid extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Do not drop, crush, stretch the cable with sudden tugs or excessive force, or bend the cable at sharp angles.
- Earwax buildup can reduce sound quality. Gently clean the earwax using a cotton swab or small tool to maintain sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, reduce the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
- If discomfort persists during use, stop using the product and consult a doctor.
- Handle the headphones with care.
