Introduction
This guide provides essential information to help you set up and start using your Insteon Comfort Kit.
The Insteon Comfort Kit allows you to control your home's lighting, temperature, and more, creating a smart and convenient living environment.
Insteon Hub Setup
Step 1: Connect the Hub
Connect the Insteon Hub to power and your internet router using the provided cables.
Connection Instructions:
- Connect the Hub to your internet router using the Ethernet cable.
- Connect the Hub's power adapter to a wall outlet.
Important Note: Avoid using power strips and switched outlets for the Hub. [❌] This ensures stable power delivery.
Insteon for Hub App Setup
Step 2: Download the App
Download and install the latest version of the "Insteon for Hub" app from your device's app store.
(Note: QR code scanning is not included as per instructions.)
Step 3: Create an Account
Connect your smartphone to the same network as the Insteon Hub. Launch the Insteon for Hub app and create a new account.
Step 4: Add Devices
Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your Insteon devices.

Remote Access
Monitor and control your Insteon devices from anywhere using remote access. Your Hub automatically configures for this feature.
Create a Schedule
Set schedules for individual devices or entire scenes to automate your home. Access this feature via Settings and tapping "Schedules".
Add More Control
Expand your smart home system by adding more Insteon devices. Control everything from light switches and dimmers to thermostats, pool pumps, and more.
