The smart lock consists of an exterior assembly and an interior assembly.

Installation Steps

  1. Adjust the backset of latch (if needed)

    Hold the latch against the door edge. If the latch holes are centered, no adjustment is needed. Otherwise, refer to 'Latch Adjustment'.

  2. Determine the direction before installing latch

    Ensure the latch is oriented correctly for your door's handedness (right-handed or left-handed). The diagram shows how to orient the latch for different door types.

  3. Install latch

    Insert the latch into the door hole.

  4. Install front panel and interior mounting plate

    Pass the connecting cable through the door. Ensure the cable goes over the latch. Align the front panel with the door and the interior mounting plate. The square hole on the mounting plate must be horizontal.

  5. Connect wire connector

    Connect the wire connector. The connectors can only be inserted in one way.

  6. Install back panel

    Align the back panel and secure it with screws (ABC screws). Adjust the liner plate if necessary before fully tightening the screws.

  7. Install 4 AA batteries and battery cover

    Insert the batteries and attach the battery cover.

  8. Install the door handles

    Attach the handles to the front and back panels.

  9. Insert the key and test the installation

    Use the key to test the lock mechanism. Ensure all components are securely fastened.

Smart Lock Operation

Basic Descriptions

Language Setting (Factory Default Mode)

The lock defaults to English voice. To switch languages:

Available languages include Chinese, English, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Thai, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Enter System Menu

In factory default mode:

Note: The default administrator password is 123456. Any fingerprint, password, or IC card can open the lock in factory default mode.

Administrator Settings

Add Administrator Information

Enter administrator information (fingerprint, password, or IC card) after pressing "1" in the system menu.

Delete Administrator Information

Enter administrator information, then press "2" to delete administrator. Input the ID number and press "#" to confirm, or press "*" to cancel.

Normal Users Settings

Add Normal Users

Enter administrator information, then press "1" to add normal users. Input user information (fingerprint, password, or IC card) as described for administrators.

Delete Normal Users

Enter administrator information, then press "2" to delete normal users. You can delete by ID number or delete all users.

System Settings

Voice Setting

Press "3" in the system menu, then "1" for voice setting. You can choose to open or close the voice.

Unlock Mode Setting

Press "3" in the system menu, then "2" for unlock mode. Options include single mode, combination mode, and passage mode.

Time Setting

Press "3" in the system menu, then "3" for time setting. You can input the new time in the format YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM. For example, 2107010945 represents 2021-07-01 09:45.

Note: Input "0+5+#" to broadcast system time. Input "1#" to broadcast the user ID.

Restore Factory Default

Press "4" in the system menu and confirm to restore factory default settings.

Network Pairing

Preparations

After successful pairing, you will receive notifications on your phone when someone rings the doorbell. You can then engage in video calls or accept/refuse unlocking requests.
