How to Lock / Unlock
UNLOCK the door from outside
- Enter Master/User code or use the physical key.
- The device unlocks.
LOCK the door from outside
- Auto Lock Mode: The bolt will extend automatically in 5 seconds after unlocking.
- Manual Mode: Press and hold '#' on the keypad for 2 seconds.
UNLOCK the door from inside
Rotate the thumb turn to the Unlock position (Right hand or Left hand).
LOCK the door from inside
- Auto Lock Mode: The device will be locked automatically.
- Manual Mode: Rotate the thumb turn to the Lock Position (Right hand or Left hand).
Definitions
- Master Code: Default is 123456. Can be changed in the DDLock App after pairing.
- Auto Lock & One-touch Lock: Automatically locks after 5 seconds. Auto Lock time is customizable (1-900 seconds). One-touch Lock: Press and hold '#' for 2 seconds to lock from outside.
- Private Mode: Press and hold the "Privacy button" on the inside panel for more than 2 seconds to enable. Press once to disable. In Private Mode, unlocking by Password, Fingerprint, IC cards, Bluetooth, Physical Key, and Admin password is not available.
- Wrong Entry Limit: After 5 unsuccessful attempts, the device shuts down for 2 minutes.
- Passage Mode: The lock remains unlocked until manually locked. Auto-lock is disabled in this mode.
- Anti-peeping password: Enter random numbers before or after the correct password to prevent exposure. Maximum 16 digits for the anti-peeping password.

STEP 1: Prepare the door and check dimensions
- A: Measure door hole diameter: 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" (38mm or 54mm). Measure door edge hole: 1" (25mm).
- B: Measure backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60 or 70mm).
- C: Measure door thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 50mm).
- D: Ensure door frame hole is at least 1" (25mm) deep for the deadbolt. Ensure door frame is aligned and clear of obstructions.
STEP 2: Install the latch and strike
- A: Determine backset and adjust latch. If slotted hole is centered, no adjustment needed. If not, rotate and pull latch to extend.
- B: Install the latch. For chiseled doors, use the latch as is. For non-chiseled doors, use the Drive-In Collar (N). Secure with Latch Screws (J).
- C: Test deadbolt operation with a screwdriver.
- D: Install strike on the door frame. Ensure the hole is at least 1" (25mm) deep. Secure with Strike Screws (I).
STEP 3: Install exterior assembly
- Ensure the latch is fully retracted (unlocked position) before installation.
- A: Measure the diameter of the hole in the door (1-1/2" or 2-1/8"). Remove the spacer if necessary.
- B: Route the cable below the latch and insert the tailpiece through the slot in the latch.
- C: Secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws (Mounting plate Screws K). Keep parallel to the door edge. Do not overtighten.
STEP 4: Install interior assembly
- A: Push the battery cover out.
- B: Determine if the door is right-handed or left-handed. Adjust the slide switch and thumb turn accordingly. (R for right-handed, L for left-handed).
- C: Insert the cable connector to the socket firmly.
- D: Attach the Interior Assembly to the Mounting Plate and tighten 3 Interior Assembly Screws (L).
- E: Insert 4 AA Alkaline batteries and replace the battery cover. The lock is now in the "Unlocked" state.
Factory Default Settings
How to Reset?
Press and hold the Reset button on the interior assembly for 5 seconds using the Reset tool until a short beep and Green light flash once. If the lock is paired, go to DDLock App settings and turn on the Reset Button before resetting.

Note: The default master code is 123456. Change it to a new master code before programming. If changed via Programming Guide, reset the lock before pairing to DDLock App.
- Change Master Code: *12# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 3 beeps -> New Master Code + # -> 3 beeps -> Same New Master Code + # -> 2 Long beeps + 2 Green light flash.
- Add User Card: *80# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 3 beeps -> Scan User Card -> 1 Long beep + 1 Green light flash.
- Delete All User Card: *69# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 2 Long beeps + 2 Green light flash.
- Add User Code: *80# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 3 beeps -> New User Code + # -> 3 beeps -> Same New User Code + # -> 2 Long beeps + 2 Green light flash.
- Change User Code: *10# -> 3 beeps -> Unwanted user Code + # -> 3 beeps -> New User Code + # -> 3 beeps -> Same New User Code + # -> 2 Long beeps + 2 Green light flash.

- Add Fingerprint: *80# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 3 beeps -> Scan Fingerprint 4 times (each time with a short beep) -> 1 Long beep + 1 Green light flash.
- Delete All Fingerprint: *70# -> 3 beeps -> Master Code + # -> 2 Long beeps + 2 Green light flash.
Notes: Supports 13.56MHz cards like Mifare, NFC, Desfire, and EV1 cards.
Troubleshooting
- Why the lock won't accept any inputs after incorrect attempts? The lock shuts down for 2 minutes after 5 unsuccessful attempts. Unlock via App or wait 2 minutes.
- How to lock manually from outside? Press and hold '#' to lock.
- Why the thumb turn won't turn? Door direction might be set wrong during installation. Re-install following the guide.
- Why the latch won't extend completely? Ensure the exterior assembly is aligned parallel to the door and not at a crooked angle.
- Batteries dead? Use physical keys to unlock.

Information & Safety Warnings
- Protect User Codes and Master Code.
- Restrict access to interior assembly and check settings regularly.
- Do not use an electric screwdriver during installation.
- No lock provides complete security by itself.
- The lock may be defeated by forcible or technical means.
- Use caution, awareness, and common sense.
- For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid lacquer thinner, caustic soaps, and abrasive cleaners to prevent tarnishing.
- The lock is water resistant to splashes, but do not let water or liquids enter the lock.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure, as long-term exposure may damage the lock.
