1. Product Overview

The DSO-153 is an extremely practical and cost-effective handheld oscilloscope launched by FNIRSI, aimed at the maintenance and educational development industries. This oscilloscope features a real-time sampling rate of 48MS/s, a bandwidth of 10MHz, and full trigger functions (single, normal, automatic). It can be freely used for both periodic analog signals and non-periodic digital signals, and can measure up to ±400V voltage with effective one-click AUTO, which can display the measured waveform without complex settings. Additionally, it comes with a multi-function signal generator (50KHz). Equipped with a 2.8-inch LCD screen with HD resolution 320*240 and a built-in high-quality 1000 mAh lithium battery, it can be used for about 4 hours on a full charge.

5. Screen Indication

5.1 Oscilloscope Interface

① Vertical Unit: Represents the voltage represented by a large grid in the vertical direction.
② Trigger Mode Indicator Icon: AUTO represents automatic trigger, Single represents single trigger, Normal represents normal trigger.
③ Probe Ratio: This should match the 1X/10X switch setting on the probe handle. If the probe is in 1X mode, the oscilloscope should also be set to 1X mode, where 1X measures 40V, and 10X measures 400V.
④ Input Coupling Method Indicator Icon: AC represents AC coupling, DC represents DC coupling.

⑦ Baseline Indicator Icon: This icon shows the current position as 0V voltage.

VH: Left and right control the time base, up and down control the vertical sensitivity of the channel.
- Wheel (Left/Right): Controls the horizontal movement of the trigger.
- Wheel (Up/Down): Moves the waveform of the channel up and down.
- Wheel (Left/Right): Controls the horizontal movement of the trigger.
- Wheel (Up/Down): Adjusts the trigger level.

5.2 Parameter Setting Interface

1. Single Item Selection:

Language, Sound & Brightness, Power-on Startup, Theme, Auto Power-off, USB Sharing, About, Factory Reset.

2. Specific Settings Details:

① Language: Chinese, English.
② Sound & Brightness: Brightness: 25-100; Sound: 0-10.
③ Power-on Startup: off, oscilloscope, signal generator. This setting is used to set the functional mode that will start automatically on power-on.
④ Theme: Blue, Yellow.
⑤ Auto Power-off: off, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour.
⑥ USB Sharing: Once enabled, users can connect the computer via the USB interface to transfer screenshots, etc.
⑦ About: Brand information, version number.
⑧ Factory Reset.

7. Directions for Attention

When the device is received, please use it only when it is fully charged.
When using the oscilloscope, pay attention to the selection of the gear, and the oscilloscope's gear should match the probe's gear.
When measuring high voltage, do not touch the metal parts of the oscilloscope to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Try not to conduct high-voltage tests while charging.
For calibration, it is necessary to disconnect the BNC probe from the electrical grid or short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the probe.
Firmware upgrades via USB only support WIN10 and newer versions. Dragging files other than the released firmware is prohibited, otherwise, it may lead to irreparable consequences.
Please charge using voltage within the range specified in the manual for use.
