1. Product Introduction

The DSO-153 is a highly practical and cost-effective handheld oscilloscope launched by FNIRSI, targeting the maintenance, development, and education industries. This oscilloscope features a real-time sampling rate of 5MS/s, 1MHz bandwidth, and a complete triggering function (single, normal, auto). It can be used for both periodic analog signals and non-periodic digital signals, and can measure voltages up to ±400V. With an efficient one-click AUTO function, it displays the measured waveform without complicated adjustments. Additionally, it includes a 10KHz signal generator. The device is equipped with a 2.8-inch 320 * 240 resolution HD LCD screen and a built-in 1000mAh high-quality lithium battery, providing approximately 4 hours of use when fully charged.

2. Panel Introduction

The FNIRSI DSO153 features the following components:

Diagram Description: The front panel of the DSO153 oscilloscope is shown. It displays a 2.8-inch LCD screen in the center. To the left of the screen are labels pointing to the 'DSO' function. To the right of the screen are labels pointing to 'DDS' (likely referring to the signal generator function) and 'Square wave calibration'. Buttons are located to the right of the screen: AUTO, MODE, Up arrow, Down arrow, and RUN. A 'Wheel button' is described as having left, OK, and right functions. Other features indicated are a 'Reset hole', 'Charging indicator light' (red for charging, green for fully charged), and a 'TYPE-C charging interface (5V/1A)' at the bottom. A 'Power button' is located on the bottom left.

5. Screen Indication

Main Menu

Diagram Description: The main menu screen shows three options arranged vertically: Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Settings.

Oscilloscope Interface

Diagram Description: The oscilloscope interface displays a waveform on a grid. Various indicators are numbered from 1 to 12, pointing to different parts of the screen and controls.

Interface Indicators:

  1. Vertical unit: Represents the voltage scale per grid division in the vertical direction.
  2. Probe ratio: Must be consistent with the probe's 1X/10X switch setting. If the probe is set to 1X, the oscilloscope should also be set to 1X (measuring 40V per division). If set to 10X, it measures 400V per division.
  3. Horizontal time base: Represents the time duration per grid division in the horizontal direction.
  4. Input coupling method indicator: AC indicates AC coupling, DC indicates DC coupling.
  5. Trigger voltage indicator: Shows the voltage level for triggering.
  6. Trigger position indicator: Indicates the position of the trigger point.
  7. Baseline indicator: Shows the current position as 0V voltage.
  8. Run/pause indicator: RUN indicates the waveform is being captured, STOP indicates it is paused.
  9. Trigger mode indicator: Auto represents automatic triggering, Single represents single triggering, Normal represents normal triggering.
  10. Trigger edge indicator: Indicates whether triggering occurs on the rising or falling edge of the signal.
  11. Signal generator on/off indicator: Shows the status of the signal generator.
  12. Battery level: Displays the remaining battery charge.

Signal Generator Interface

Diagram Description: The signal generator interface allows selection of waveform types and adjustment of parameters like Frequency, Duty Cycle, and Amplitude.
