Introduction
Replacing a clogged or old HEPA filter can significantly help reduce abnormal noise levels and improve the overall air quality and smell emitted by your vacuum cleaner.
Step 1: Remove the HEPA Filter Cover
The HEPA filter is housed behind a protective cover on the front of the vacuum cleaner. The cover is secured by a latch.

- Locate the latch at the bottom of the HEPA filter housing on the front of the vacuum. Press this latch downwards.
- While holding the latch, pull the grey and blue plastic cover outwards and away from the vacuum body to detach it.
Step 2: Remove the HEPA Filter
Once the cover is removed, the HEPA filter itself can be accessed and pulled out.
Image Description: A sequence of three images demonstrates the removal of the HEPA filter. The first image shows the vacuum's front panel with the protective cover detached, revealing the filter compartment. The second image shows a hand gripping a distinct grey plastic tab located in the center of the filter grate. The third image shows the HEPA filter being carefully pulled free from its housing.
- Grasp the grey plastic tab located in the middle of the HEPA filter grate.
- Pull the HEPA filter outwards by this tab.
- If the HEPA filter is difficult to remove, gently wiggle it side-to-side as you continue to pull.
