Important Safety Warnings

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• NEVER LEAVE INFANT IN PRODUCT WITH SIDES DOWN. Infant may roll into space between pad and loose mesh side, causing suffocation.
• INFANTS CAN SUFFOCATE: Avoid gaps between mattress and product sides, and do not use soft bedding. Never add extra padding, pillows, or comforters. Use only the manufacturer-provided mattress. Never use a water mattress.
• STRANGULATION HAZARD: Strings can cause strangulation. Never place items with strings around a child's neck. Never suspend strings over the playard or attach strings to toys. Keep away from windows with cords from blinds or drapes.
• FALL HAZARD: Discontinue use when child can climb out, reaches 35 inches (890 mm) height, or weighs 30 lbs (14 kgs), whichever comes first. When child can pull to standing, remove bumper pads, large toys, or other objects that could serve as steps.
• Always provide necessary supervision. Never leave a child unattended.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, place infants on their back to sleep, unless advised otherwise by a physician.
• Never use improvised netting or covers on the playard, as this can cause entrapment and death.
• Never use the product if parts are loose, missing, broken, or torn. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for replacement parts. Never substitute parts.
• Never leave child in product with sides lowered; ensure sides are raised and locked.
• Never use plastic bags or film as mattress covers, as they can cause suffocation.
• This product is not intended for commercial use.
• Bassinet Specific Warnings: Use with only one child at a time. Never place a child under the bassinet. Never store the bassinet in the playard while in use. Ensure bassinet is fully assembled and installed before use.
• Changing Table Specific Warnings: Never leave the changing table in place when the child is in the bassinet or playard; always flip it down when not in use. Always use the safety belt and keep the child within arm's reach when using the changing table.

Assembly Instructions

Playard Assembly

1. Unzip the storage bag and remove the playard frame. Undo the two fastening straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.
2. Erect the top rails one at a time. Pull up sharply, ensuring both tubes latch securely into place and the rail is rigid. The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the first rail by squeezing the center release and try again.
3. Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and lock automatically. Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and securely in place.
4. Place the mattress on the playard floor with the padded side facing upward.
5. Insert the two Velcro® straps located on the underside of the mattress through the slots in the playard floor. Fasten the hook and loop straps to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving. Ensure the center handle remains raised while locking the side rails.

Folding the Playard

1. Release the two Velcro® straps holding the mattress from underneath the playard floor or bassinet. Set the mattress aside.
2. Do not unlock the top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before the top rails will unlock.
3. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center.
4. Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. Ensure both tubes are released for the top rail to fold.
5. Gather the four corners and center them tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward. Secure the two hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves.
6. Place the folded playard into the carry bag.

Bassinet Assembly

ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature. You will need to remove the mattress from the bottom of the playard to use inside your bassinet.

1. Position the bassinet over and down into the fully assembled playard. Secure it by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.
2. Insert the assembled mattress support tubes into the loops provided on the bottom of the bassinet.
3. Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward.

To Remove Bassinet: Remove mattress from bassinet. Remove canopy. Unsnap all clips and lift bassinet.

Changing Table Assembly

1. Connect the two (2) Long Curved Bars together.
2. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric and slide them around the inside sleeve.
3. Connect the two (2) Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring the knobs face down and in the same direction.
4. Insert the Connector Knob Prongs into the holes located on both corners of the playard.
5. Turn the Connector Knobs counter-clockwise to lock into place.
6. Flip the changing table over onto the playard. Snap the two (2) buttons on the flap down onto the playard.
7. IMPORTANT: Check that the changing table is correctly and securely installed BEFORE each use.

To Secure the Changing Table to the Playard: Ensure the changing table is secured to the playard frame using the provided Velcro straps.

Using the Changing Table Restraint System: Place child on the changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the buckle ends together. Tighten the strap snugly around the child's waist. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. To remove, unsnap the buckle. ATTENTION: NEVER use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.

To Remove Changing Table: Flip the changing table to the outside of the playard. Unsnap the fabric flap. Twist connector knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove the changing table and disconnect the short bars from the curved bar by pressing snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove the curved bar from the changing table sleeve.

Parent Organizer Assembly

1. Parent Organizer: Position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear of the organizer. Press the hook down firmly into the slot until it snaps into place.
2. Diaper Stacker: Skip to step 2.
3. Connect the Parent Organizer/Diaper Stacker to the playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail. NOTE: Can only be installed on open sides where clips attach easily without interfering with other features.

Mobile Assembly

ATTENTION: A crib mobile is for visual stimulation only and not to be grasped by the child. Remove when the baby begins to push up on hands and knees. If designed for wall/ceiling mounting, place out of reach. Always attach all provided fasteners tightly. Check frequently. Do not add extra strings. Do not attach the mobile with a child in the playard or bassinet.

1. Insert the mobile lower arm into the mobile arm holder until they lock together.
2. Insert the mobile upper curved arm into the lower arm assembly until locked.
3. Snap the mobile tri-shaped arm onto the end of the upper curved arm. Thread the toy strings into the slots at the end of each arm.
4. Insert the bottom of the mobile arm into the frame of the playard.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Use only household mild soap and warm water.
• DO NOT USE BLEACH.
• DO NOT MACHINE WASH.
