Identifying Serial Number or IMEI Code
The serial number or IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) can be found on the packaging. Alternatively, on the phone, press *#06# or navigate to Settings > Regulations and Safety > IMEI.

1 Your Mobile Phone
1.1 Buttons and Connectors

Front/Side Button Descriptions:
- 1. OK Button: Confirms selection (press the center of the button). Pressing it from the home screen accesses the application list.
- 2. Left Function Button (OK Button): Confirms options. Pressing it from the home screen accesses the application list.
- 3. Call Button: Answers/initiates a call. Pressing it from the home screen displays call history.
- 4. Right Function Button (Back Button): Pressing it from the home screen accesses contacts.
- 5. End Button: Returns to the home screen. Pressing it ends a call.
- 6. Navigation Button: Moves up, down, left, or right in menus. From the home screen: Up: Accesses messages. Down: Accesses the camera. Right: Accesses phone/files/entertainment. Left: Accesses tools.
- 7. Button '5': On the home screen: Press to enter '5'. Long press to turn the flashlight on/off.
- 8. Button '*': On the home screen: Press to enter '*'. Long press to lock the screen. In edit mode: Press to insert symbols.
- 9. Button '#': On the home screen: Press to enter '#'. Long press to toggle vibration mode on/off. In edit mode: Press to enter input methods.
1.2 Getting Started
1.2.1 Setup
Removing the Back Cover and Installing the Battery
Diagrams show the steps to remove the back cover and insert the battery.
Inserting and Removing SIM / micro SD Card
Turn the SIM card so the chip faces down and insert it into the slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly. To remove the card, push it and slide it out. Turn off the phone before inserting or removing a SIM/micro-SIM card.
Charging the Battery
Connect the battery charger to the phone and a wall socket. Do not force the plug into the socket. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted before connecting the charger. Use a wall socket that is easily accessible near the phone (do not use extension cords).
1.2.2 Turning On the Phone
Press and hold the End button until the phone turns on. The screen will light up in a few seconds. Unlock the phone by long/short pressing the left function button (1).
You can turn on the phone and use some functions even without a SIM card inserted.
To reduce power consumption, unplug the charger after the battery is fully charged and turn off Bluetooth. In Settings, you can also reduce screen brightness and shorten the time before the screen goes to sleep.
1.2.3 Turning Off the Phone
Turn off the phone by pressing and holding the End button.
1.3 Home Screen
The home screen displays the time, date, and status icons. The status bar at the top shows signal strength, network connection, battery status, and notifications.
Status Bar (1):
- Signal Strength Icon: Indicates network signal strength.
- Connected to Headset Icon: Shows when a headset is connected.
- Bluetooth is On Icon: Indicates Bluetooth is active.
- New SMS or MMS Message Icon: Alerts to new text messages.
- Silent Mode Icon: Indicates silent mode is active.
- SIM Card Not Inserted Icon: Appears when no SIM card is present.
- Alarm Set Icon: Shows when an alarm is set.
1.4 Application List
Press the left function button or the OK button on the home screen to open the application list.
1.4.1 Status Bar (1)
The status bar is located at the top of the home screen. It displays icons indicating the phone's status and new notifications.
1.4.2 Changing the Home Screen Wallpaper
- On the home screen, press the OK button, select the Settings icon, and then use the navigation button to select Phone Settings > Display > Wallpaper.
- Choose a new image from the Gallery or User-defined section, press the left function button, and then press OK. The new image will appear on the home screen after exiting the menu.
2 Call History
2.1 Making Calls
Dial a number and press the Call button, or press the right function button to select a contact from Contacts. Use the navigation button up or down to select the desired contact and press the Call button. If you make a mistake, you can delete incorrect digits by pressing the right function button. End the call by pressing the End button.
Emergency Call: If the phone is within signal coverage, dial the emergency number and press the Call button to make an emergency call.
International Calls: To make an international call, double-press the *+ button to enter '+', then enter the international prefix, and finally the phone number. Dial the number by pressing the Call button.
2.2 Answering or Rejecting a Call
When a call comes in:
- Press the left function button or the Call button to answer the call.
- Press the right function button or the End button to reject the call.
2.3 Accessing Voicemail
- Call your voicemail by pressing and holding the 1 button.
- Follow the prompts to set up your voicemail account.
3 Contacts
3.1 Managing Contacts
The Contacts list allows you to easily and quickly contact desired people.
You can access this function by:
- Pressing the OK button on the home screen and selecting Contacts.
- Pressing the right function button on the home screen.
Address Book Screen:
- 1. Volby (Options): Pressing the left function button provides more options.
- 2. OK Button: Pressing the OK button displays detailed contact information.
- 3. Back Button: Pressing the right function button returns to the application list or the home screen.
(1) Contact your network operator to verify service availability.
3.2 Adding a Contact
On the contact list screen, select New Contact or Options > New Contact to add new contacts with detailed information.
After completion, press the left function button to save.
3.3 Editing a Contact
Select a contact, press the OK button to open Details, select Options > Edit, and press the OK button to start editing.
3.4 Deleting a Contact
On the contact list screen, press the left function button to open the Options menu, select Delete, and press the OK button to delete.
3.5 Available Options
In the contact list, you have access to the following items:
- Call: Dial the selected contact's number and make a call.
- New Contact: Create a new contact on your phone or SIM card.
Sending a Text Message
Send an SMS message to a recipient selected from the Contacts list.
- Edit: Edit contact details.
- Delete: Delete a selected contact.
- Copy: Copy a contact to the phone or SIM card.
- Send Business Card: Send a contact via SMS/MMS/Bluetooth.
Other
- Speed Dial: You can set one or more contacts for speed dial.
- Enabled Phone Function: Turn on/off the FDN function and edit the FDN list.
- Memory Status: Check the memory status of the phone and SIM card.
- Copy All: Copy all contacts from the phone to the SIM card, or from the SIM card to the phone.
- Move Contacts: Move selected contacts from the phone to the SIM card, or from the SIM card to the phone.
- Delete All: Delete all contacts at once.
- Backup Contacts: Back up all contacts to a microSD card.
- Restore Contact: Restore backed-up contacts from a microSD card.
4 SOS
On the home screen, press the OK button and select the SOS option.
- Status: In this menu, you can select Activate or Deactivate SOS.
- Contact List: In this menu, you can set SOS contacts.
- Message: In this menu, you can set the SOS message.
- Repeated Attempts: It may happen that an emergency call is initiated, but the person you are trying to call is unavailable. The call may then go to voicemail or an answering service. This device is configured to attempt to call all predefined SOS contacts sequentially within 15 seconds. Let your friends and family know that you have included them in your SOS contact list.
- SOS Settings (Help): In this menu, you can set the SOS key.
Once you set the SOS key, a long press of this key will trigger a loud warning sound, send help messages, and call the predefined SOS contacts.
5 Tools
5.1 Alarm
The phone has a built-in alarm with a snooze function. You can set up to three alarms with different wake-up times.
5.2 Clock
The first clock displays the time based on your location determined by the SIM card. To view the time in other locations/time zones, you can select other cities.
5.3 Flashlight
Turn the flashlight on/off.
5.4 Magnifier
Press to activate the Magnifier.
5.5 Calculator
Pressing the up, down, left, right, or center button allows you to select the signs +, -, ×, ÷, and =.
5.6 My Files
The phone provides internal storage for file management and also supports microSD cards. The content of the microSD card can be edited. You can create a new folder, delete or edit it, and view its details and contents.
5.7 Call Filter
In this menu, you can set up a blacklist.
5.8 Calendar
Opening this menu displays a calendar view of the month, where you can select the desired date. Pressing the left function button and selecting Options allows you to jump to the Start of the Week date.
5.9 Conversions
Allows conversion of units of weight and distance.
6 Messages
Using the messaging function, you can send and receive text (SMS) messages.
6.1 Writing a Message
- On the home screen, press the OK button and select Messages.
- Press the Write Message button to start typing a text message.
- When finished, press the left function button and select Options > Send to send the text message.
How to Write a Message
In edit mode, you can press the keyboard to change input methods and access numbers 1, 2, 3..., or long-press the corresponding key to get the desired number.
You can enter text using predictive text input or press # to set the desired text input method.
- To enter text normally, press the keys with numbers 2 through 9 until the desired character appears. If the next desired letter is on the same button as the current one, press the button repeatedly until the next cursor appears.
- Pressing the # key allows you to switch between Abc/abc/ABC/123 modes or change the input language.
- To insert punctuation or special characters, press the * + key.
- To delete any previously typed letters or symbols, press the right function button and delete them one by one.
Settings
- Message Center SIM1/SIM2: Here you can set the message center number.
- Message Validity Period: You can set the message validity period to 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, or Maximum.
- Status Messages: You can enable or disable status messages.
- Reply Path: Check this box to enable the function.
- Coding Management: You can set the character code to 7-bit GSM coding, UCS2 coding, or Automatic.
- Save Sent Messages: You can choose whether to save sent messages or not.
- Preferred Storage: Set the path for storing saved messages.
- Export SMS: Set the path from which to export SMS.
- Automatic Signature: Choose whether to use an automatic signature for messages.
- Signature: Enter your signature.
7 Camera
The mobile phone is equipped with a camera to take photos and record videos.
7.1 Camera
On the home screen, press the center function button and select the Camera option.
Taking a Snapshot
The screen acts as a viewfinder. Align the object or landscape in the viewfinder. Press the center function button to take photos and the left function button to save them.
7.2 Video
Recording Video
- Press the left function button and select DV mode to switch from camera mode to video camera mode.
- Press the center function button to record video.
- At the end, press the left function button to automatically save the video. You can view the video by selecting the Gallery item in the application list.
8 Gallery
The Gallery functions as a multimedia player for photos and videos. It also offers various operations for images and videos.
To view taken photos or videos, press the OK button on the home screen and select the Gallery option.
9 Settings
9.1 Phone Settings
- Display: This function allows you to select wallpaper settings, power-on display settings, power-off display settings, LCD backlight, date and time display, and keyboard backlight time.
- Date and Time: Allows you to adjust date and time settings, including 12/24h format and date format (Year-Month-Day / Month-Day-Year / Day-Month-Year). You can also choose automatic time display updates by selecting Settings > Automatic time update.
- Automatic Screen Lock: In this function, you can set the automatic lock time.
- Language: In this menu, you can set the display language and input language.
- Preferred Input Method: In this function, you can change the input method.
- Scheduled Power On/Off: In this function, you can set the power-on or power-off time.
9.2 Bluetooth
With other Bluetooth-enabled devices within range, you can transfer data such as videos, images, and audio files after pairing.
9.3 Hourly Broadcast
In this function, you can turn the hourly broadcast on/off.
9.4 Help (SOS)
Detailed information can be found in section "4. SOS".
9.5 Layout
In this function, you can set the 3x3 mode or the icon super mode.
9.6 Profiles
In this menu, you can set the sound mode: Normal, Silent, Meeting, or Airplane.
9.7 Dual SIM Function Settings
With support for two SIM cards, you can use two phone numbers on one device.
9.8 Call Settings
- Call Forwarding: You can activate, cancel, or check the status of call forwarding to voicemail or a specified number.
- Call Waiting: Activate/deactivate audible notification of a second incoming call. You can also check the status of waiting calls.
- Call Blocking: This function allows you to restrict certain types of calls on the device. When you enable call blocking, you can control incoming and outgoing calls, ensure your privacy and security, and protect yourself from unwanted interference.
- Advanced Settings: Here you can set Automatic redial, call duration reminders, rejection via SMS, contact alerts, and response mode.
9.9 Security Settings
The phone can be protected by activating and changing the PIN code and password. The default setting is 1234.
9.10 Network Settings
- Network Selection: The connection mode can be set to Automatic or Manual.
- Network Information: In this function, you can view network information.
9.11 Font Settings
In this menu, you can set the font size.
9.12 Call Filter
In this menu, you can set up a blacklist.
9.13 Regulations and Safety
You can view information about the phone, such as the product model, manufacturer name, IMEI, CU reference, etc.
9.14 Restore Settings
Phone settings will be restored to their default values. User data will be erased. Confirm the restoration and reset by entering the default password 1234.
9.15 Information

10 Troubleshooting
Before contacting the service center, we recommend following the instructions below:
- For optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery to full capacity.
- Do not store large amounts of data on the phone, as this may affect its performance.
Also perform the following checks:
Phone does not turn on or respond
- Check the battery contacts, remove and reinsert the battery, then turn on the phone.
- Check the battery charge level and charge it for at least 20 minutes.
Phone does not respond for several minutes
- Turn off the phone by holding the End button.
- Remove and reinsert the battery. Then turn the phone on again.
Phone turns off by itself
- Verify that the phone is locked when not in use, and ensure you have not accidentally turned it off by pressing the End button.
- Check the battery charge level.
Phone charging is not working correctly
- Use the supplied TCL battery and charger.
- Check that the battery is inserted correctly. The battery must be inserted before connecting the charger.
- Check if the battery is completely discharged. If the battery has been discharged for a long time, it will take approximately 20 minutes for the battery charging indicator to appear on the screen.
- Charging must be done under normal conditions (0 °C to +40 °C).
- When abroad, check if the electrical network provides compatible voltage.
Phone cannot connect to the network or displays "No signal"
- Try connecting in a different location.
- Check the network coverage range with your operator.
- Check the validity of your SIM card with your operator.
- Try selecting an available network manually.
- Try connecting later, as the network may be overloaded.
Phone cannot connect to the internet
- Ensure that your SIM card service allows internet access.
- Check the internet connection settings on your phone.
- Move to a location with network coverage.
- Try connecting later or from a different location.
Invalid SIM card
- Check that the SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Check that the SIM card chip is not damaged or scratched.
- Check that the SIM card service is enabled for your phone.
Cannot make outgoing calls
- Ensure you have entered the correct number and pressed the Call button.
- For international calls, check the country code.
Check that your phone is connected to the network and that the network is available and not overloaded.
Check your account status (credit, SIM card validity, etc.) with your operator.
Check that outgoing call blocking is not enabled.
Check that the phone is not in Airplane mode.
Cannot receive incoming calls
- Ensure that the phone is turned on and connected to the network (check if the network is not overloaded or unavailable).
- Check your account status (credit, SIM card validity, etc.) with your operator.
- Check if incoming call forwarding is enabled.
- Check if blocking of certain calls is enabled.
- Check that the phone is not in Airplane mode.
Caller's name/number not displayed for incoming calls
- Check if your operator provides this service.
- The caller has withheld their name or number.
Cannot find my contacts
- Check that the SIM card is not damaged.
- Check that the SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Import all contacts stored on the SIM card to the phone.
Poor sound quality during phone calls
- You can adjust the volume during a call by pressing the Volume Up/Down button.
- Check the network signal strength.
- Check the cleanliness of the receiver, connector, and speaker on your phone.
Cannot use functions described in the user manual
- Check with your operator to ensure you have subscribed to the service.
- Ensure that the function does not require TCL accessories.
Selected number in contacts cannot be dialed
- Check that the number in contacts is correct.
- When calling abroad, check that you have entered the country prefix.
Cannot add a contact to my contacts
- Check if the maximum number of contacts on the SIM card has been reached. Delete some entries or save entries to the phone's contacts.
Callers cannot leave messages in my voicemail
- Contact your network operator to verify service availability.
Cannot access my voicemail
- Ensure that the operator's voicemail number is entered correctly.
- If the network is overloaded, try again later.
SIM card is locked with PIN code
- Request the PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code from your network operator.
Other devices do not recognize the phone via Bluetooth
- Verify that Bluetooth is activated and that the phone is visible to other users.
- Verify that both phones are within Bluetooth range.
How to transfer data between the phone and a computer?
If you want to transfer data between a memory card or SD card and a computer, connect the phone to the computer using a data cable and select "SD Card" in the phone. You can then transfer data between these two units.
