Assembly Instructions

Screws and plugs for the wall are not included. Use screws and plugs suitable for your walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Assemble Base Frame
Connect the two main side panels to the base panel using 4x screws (A - 114142) per side. Use the Allen key (D - 100092) for tightening.
Step 2: Attach Back Panels
Slide the two back panels into the grooves on the side and base panels. Secure them by inserting 8x screws (B - 194732) into the pre-drilled holes along the edges.
Step 3: Attach Top Frame
Place the top frame onto the assembled side panels.
Step 4: Secure Top Frame
Fasten the top frame to the side panels using 4x screws (A - 114142). Use the Allen key (D - 100092).
Step 5: Attach Remaining Side Panels
Attach the remaining two side panels to the base and top frame. Secure them with 4x screws (B - 194732) per side.
Step 6: Install Connectors
Insert 2x connectors (E - 10044713) into the designated holes on the top frame. Turn them clockwise until they make a [click sound].
Step 7: Install Shelf Supports
Insert 16x shelf support pins (F - 10042534) and 16x shelf support pins (G - 10042568) into the desired holes on the inner sides of the frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced.
Step 8: Place Shelves
Carefully place the shelves onto the installed support pins.
Step 9: Place Additional Shelves
Continue placing shelves onto the support pins.
Step 10: Complete Shelf Placement
Place all remaining shelves onto their respective support pins.
Step 11: Attach Wall Brackets
Attach 2x wall brackets (H - 10046332) to the top rear of the unit using the provided mechanism. These are crucial for securing the unit to the wall.
Step 12: Install Base Supports (Optional Configuration)
To add base supports, attach 4x base supports (J - 152059) to the bottom of the unit using 4x screws (I - 108736).
Step 13: Stacking Units (Optional Configuration)
To stack multiple PLATSA units, align the top unit above the bottom unit. Secure them together using 4x screws (I - 108736) through the designated connection points.
Important Notes
Wall Attachment is Mandatory: To prevent tip-over accidents, this furniture MUST be secured to the wall using the provided wall attachment devices (H - 10046332). Ensure you use appropriate screws and wall plugs for your specific wall type. If unsure, consult a professional.
Maximum Height: The maximum recommended height for stacked units is 300 cm (118 7/64 inches).
