In Case of a Defect
If a defect occurs within the warranty period, IKEA will inspect the product and either repair it, replace it with an identical or comparable product, or offer a refund. IKEA covers costs for repair, replacement parts, disassembly, return of the defective product, and delivery, as well as assembly of the replaced product. Replaced parts become IKEA's property.
If a product is no longer in IKEA's range, IKEA will offer a comparable replacement product. If no comparable product is available, IKEA will provide a reasonable monetary compensation.
Care and Maintenance
For optimal performance and longevity, always follow the user manual provided with your appliance. Ensure proper installation, preferably by a qualified professional, as improper installation can void the warranty.
- Clean appliances regularly using recommended cleaning products. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch surfaces.
- Use only suitable accessories and materials for each appliance type (e.g., microwave-safe dishes, appropriate pots for cooktops).
- Ensure adequate ventilation for appliances like refrigerators and ovens.
- For specific appliances like ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers, follow detailed installation, usage, and maintenance instructions provided in the respective manuals.
