Connection Diagram

Linking/Unlinking

Linking

  1. Turn off the light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
  2. Briefly press the "Link" button 3 times within 3 seconds.
  3. The light will flash slowly 3 times ✔️ to confirm successful linking.

If the indicator does not flash, linking failed. Repeat the steps. Reconnection is not possible if the remote has already completed linking.

Unlinking

  1. Turn off the light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
  2. Briefly press the "Link" button 5 times within 3 seconds.
  3. The lights will flash rapidly 10 times, indicating successful unlinking.

If the indicator does not flash rapidly, unlinking failed. Repeat the steps. Lights not connected do not require unlinking.

Automatic Transmission and Synchronization

Automatic Signal Transmission: A Master controller can transmit remote signals to another Master within a 30m range. If a Master is within 30m, the remote control distance can be unlimited.

Automatic Dynamic Mode Synchronization: Multiple lights can synchronize if they are in the same dynamic mode and linked to the same remote (distance between lights less than 30m).

To activate static mode: When the light is in static mode, briefly press the "S+" button 5 times rapidly until the blue indicator flashes slowly 3 times.

Dynamic Mode Table 2 (Manual Change Required)

To activate static mode: When the light is in static mode, briefly press the "S-" button 5 times rapidly until the yellow indicator flashes slowly 3 times.

*Models C5, FUT096, FUT096-B, S2-B, S2-W, S2W+, S2B+ do not support mode changes.

"Do Not Disturb" Mode

Activation (Default): Used in areas prone to power outages to save energy.

Via Remote Control

Activate: Press "OFF" three times in three seconds, then press "ON" three times. Successful activation is indicated by the LED flashing four times rapidly ✔️.

Attention: When the light is off, it will turn off once after power is cut and restored. The user must power cycle twice or use the app/remote to activate. When the light is on, it will turn on once after power is cut and restored.

Deactivation

Deactivate: Press "ON" three times in three seconds, then press "OFF" three times. Successful deactivation is indicated by the LED flashing four times slowly .

Attention: The light will always be on after a single power cycle if the "Do Not Disturb" mode has been deactivated.

Smartphone App Control (Tuya Smart)

Network Configuration

  1. Plug the controller into power.
  2. Verify the indicator flashes rapidly (2 times/sec) ?. If not, press and hold "SET" until it flashes rapidly, or power cycle the controller 6 times.
  3. Connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network ?.
  4. Open the Tuya Smart app, go to the home page, and tap "+" .
  5. Select "Lighting", then "Light Source (BLE + Wi-Fi)".
  6. Follow the app's instructions to complete setup.

App Control of "Do Not Disturb" Mode

In the app, select the light or group. Tap "More" (or similar) .... Tap "Power-on behavior" ⚙️. Toggle the "Do Not Disturb" setting to activate or deactivate.

Voice Control Instructions

Add the device in the [Tuya Smart] app first, then follow the steps.

Alexa Voice Control

  1. Open the Alexa app.
  2. Tap "More" (bottom right) ....
  3. Tap "Skills & Games" ?.
  4. Tap the search icon (top right) ?.
  5. Search for "Smart Life".
  6. Tap the "Smart Life" skill and follow instructions to enable voice control.

Google Home Voice Control

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap "+" (top left) .
  3. Tap "Set up device" ⚙️.
  4. Tap "Works with Google" ?.
  5. Tap the search icon (top right) ?.
  6. Search for "Smart Life".
  7. Tap the "Smart Life" skill and follow instructions to enable voice control.
