Installation Steps

1. Temporarily remove the plastic undertray from the lower edge of the bumper (four clips and four screws).
2. Cut a section from the undertray edge (see sketch) if required trim to suit.
3. Remove the four plastic grommets from the side face of each chassis member to reveal the towbar mounting holes.
4. Using Item H and Item J with Item K and Item D loosely bolt Item B to the inside face of each chassis member.
5. Using Item G, bolt Item A to Item B.
6. Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the towbar is rigid and secure.
7. Refit undertray using original fixings.
8. Using Item F with Item L, Bolt Item C to Item A.
9. Using Item E, bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.

Notes

• Recommended Torque Setting for M12 Grade 10.9 -139 Nm. (For other Torque Settings see notes overleaf).
• Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturers' trailer / caravan weight limits must be observed.
