App Pairing
Step 1: Register Your Account
1. Search and download the "KK Home" app from Google Play or the App Store.
2. Tap on "Sign Up" on the app's welcome screen.
3. Complete the registration information and tap "Get Code." A verification code will be sent to your email.
Note: Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
Step 2: Pair Your Lock
1. Bring your phone close to the lock. Enable Location and Bluetooth permissions. Scan the QR code located on the Battery Cover to add the device.
Note: If the lock is not listed, ensure Location and Bluetooth permissions are enabled, and wake up the Keypad screen with your palm during pairing.
2. Start pairing. Press and hold the RES button for 5 seconds to begin the setup process. The app will guide you through device connection.
3. Set a new Master Code. Follow the on-screen prompts to set a master PIN code (4-10 digits, no 4 repeated or sequential numbers).
4. Pairing is successful. The connection is confirmed.
5. Choose your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
6. Wi-Fi connection is successful. Your device is now connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Note: If Wi-Fi connection fails, check Wi-Fi stability, ensure the network is 2.4GHz, keep the router and lock within 65ft (20m), avoid interference, and ensure firmware/app are up-to-date.
App Guide
Lock Page Overview
Tap the lock icon ? to lock or unlock the door.
- Activities: View records of unlocks, locks, and alerts.
- PIN Code: Create and manage up to 100 PIN codes.
- Fingerprint: Add and manage fingerprints.
- Settings: Access basic lock information and adjust settings.
PIN Code
A total of 100 PIN Codes can be set and stored. Password types include:
- Permanent: Valid indefinitely.
- Recurring: Active during specific hours on a weekly schedule.
- Duration: Active for a predefined duration.
- One-Time: Generated once and auto-deleted after use.
Change Master Code
Navigate to Settings > Master code in the app to change your master PIN.
Away Mode
In Away Mode, PIN Codes and Fingerprints unlocking are disabled. You can unlock the door with the App, Mechanical Key, or Master Code. Using the App or Master Code will disable Away Mode.
How to Lock / Unlock
How to unlock
Unlock from the outside:
- Tap ? once in the KK Home App.
- Use your Fingerprint ?️ (Green light flashes).
- Enter the Master or PIN Code and press the TEEHO button.
- Use the Mechanical Key.
Unlock from the inside: Rotate the Thumb Turn.
How to lock
Lock from the outside:
- Tap ? once in the KK Home App.
- Use your Fingerprint ?️ (Red light flashes).
- Press and hold Any button on the Keypad for more than 1 second.
- Use the Mechanical Key.
Lock from the inside: Rotate the Thumb Turn.
Auto lock
In Auto Lock mode, the bolt extends automatically to lock the door in 30 seconds. The time delay can be customized between 10 and 99 seconds.
Note: The lock does not have a built-in door sensor. With Auto Lock enabled, the latch bolt will extend automatically regardless of whether the door is closed or open.
How to Reset
Resetting steps
- Keep the door open and unlocked.
- Press and hold the [Reset Button] for 5 seconds using the Reset Tool.
- Continue holding the [Reset Button] until you hear a long beep and the latch bolt extends out automatically.

IMPORTANT: Resetting will delete all PIN Codes associated with the lock.
Programming Guide
Note: If you are not using the KK Home App, you can program the lock directly.
The default Master Code is 12345678. Set a new Master Code before programming.
Programmed codes can be synchronized with the KK Home App.
Change Master Code
- Press TEEHO 2 Times
- Enter Default Master Code (12345678)
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Press 1 (Green light flashes)
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Enter New Master Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Re-enter New Master Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Succeed Green light flashes)
Add PIN Code
- Press TEEHO 2 Times
- Enter Master Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Press 2 (Green light flashes)
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Enter New PIN Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Re-enter New PIN Code

Delete PIN Code
- Press TEEHO 2 Times
- Enter Master Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)

- Enter Unwanted PIN Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Succeed Green light flashes)
Add Fingerprint
- Press TEEHO 2 Times
- Enter Master Code
- Press TEEHO 1 Time (Green light flashes)
- Press 4 (Green light flashes)
- Scan Fingerprint 8 Times (Each successful scan accompanied by a short beep)
- Succeed Green light flashes + A long beep
Note: For better fingerprint recognition, place your finger at different angles and apply slight pressure. Consider adding fingerprints from multiple fingers or recording the same fingerprint multiple times.
FAQ
Why am I unable to check the latest records in the App?
If the Wi-Fi connection is unavailable, records won't update in real time. Please check your Wi-Fi network.
How to edit, delete, or create custom codes remotely?
You can edit, delete, or add custom codes remotely only when the Wi-Fi network is working properly.
How to add fingerprints?
Fingerprints must be added directly at the lock. Ensure you are near the lock.
Can I add multiple locks to one account?
Yes, it is able to add multiple locks in the KK Home App.
Can I add a lock to two accounts?
No, you can't add locks to two accounts, but you can share your access. Open KK Home App, navigate to User, select Add user, choose the device, opt for sharing as Family or Guest, and share via Email or invitation code.
Why I failed to lock / unlock in KK Home App?
First, verify the door lock is installed correctly and that the key and password can unlock the door manually. If they work, check that the Wi-Fi connection is stable and functioning.
Why can't the lock connect to Wi-Fi after changing the batteries?
To restore Wi-Fi connection after changing batteries:
- Ensure batteries are alkaline AA and the lock is powered on.
- Verify if the Wi-Fi password has changed; if so, reconfigure.
- Check Wi-Fi network status for stability.
- Reconfigure Wi-Fi settings in the App's Settings menu.
- Unbind the device in the App and rebind it to reconnect.
How to change the email address in KK Home App?
The KK Home App currently does not support email address changes.
How to connect with Alexa?
Ensure the lock is connected to Wi-Fi. Navigate to "My" → "The Third Party Voice Services" → "Alexa" icon in KK Home App. Select "Agree and link," follow prompts to link your account and Skill in Alexa App. Locate your device in Alexa, enable "Unlock by App" and "Unlock by voice," and create a voice code.
How to add Google Assistant to KK Home App?
Ensure the lock is connected to Wi-Fi. Open KK Home App > My > Works with. Click 'Google Assistant' > Click 'Agree and link'. Download the 'Google Home' App. Sign in your Google account. Discover KK Home devices in Google Home App and add them. Back to KK Home App, view the link status.
