OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff (CFX-WR17). This cuff is designed for arm circumferences from 9" to 17" (22 to 42 cm). Please refer to the original instruction manual of your Blood Pressure Monitor for complete details.

Important: Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before using the unit. Keep this guide for future reference.

Safety Information

Caution: ⚠️ Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury to the user or patient, or damage to the equipment or other property.

• Use only OMRON-approved Blood Pressure Monitors with this cuff. It is compatible with OMRON Advanced Accuracy blood pressure monitors that support the ComFit™ Cuff.
• Ensure you use the same arm cuff model as indicated next to the air jack. Do not use any other type of arm cuff.
• Do not wash or wet the cuff.

Instructions for Use (Left Arm)

To prepare for measurement:

• Remove tight-fitting clothing or rolled-up sleeves from your upper arm. Do not place the arm cuff over thick clothes.

1. Insert the air plug into the air jack securely.
2. Apply the arm cuff to your left upper arm. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 1/2 inch (1 - 2 cm) above the elbow. Ensure the air tube is positioned on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
3. Secure the cuff closed using the fabric fastener.

Instructions for Use (Right Arm)

When taking measurements on the right arm:

• The air tube should run along the inside of your arm. Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.

Note: Blood pressure readings can vary between the left and right arms. OMRON recommends consistently using the same arm for measurements. If readings differ significantly, consult your physician about which arm to use.

Maintenance

• Use a soft, dry cloth, or a soft cloth slightly moistened with neutral soap to clean the arm cuff.
• Do not use gasoline, thinners, or similar solvents for cleaning.
• Store the arm cuff away from extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, dust, or corrosive vapors.
• Avoid excessively bending or creasing the air tube.

Limited Warranty

The CFX-WR17 cuff is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, provided it is used according to the provided instructions. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. OMRON will, at its option, replace any defective cuff covered by this warranty at no charge. Replacement is OMRON's sole responsibility and the purchaser's sole remedy.

This warranty is the sole warranty provided by OMRON for this product. OMRON disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied warranties or terms imposed by law are limited in duration to the period of this express warranty.

OMRON shall not be liable for loss of use or any other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect costs, expenses, or damages.

This warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Some limitations and exclusions may not apply due to special local requirements.
