- Do not wash or wet the cuff.
Cuff Application:
- Remove any rolled-up or tight-fitting sleeves from the left arm. Do not place the cuff over very thick clothing.
- Insert the air tube connector firmly into the air socket until it clicks. [Click sound]
- Place the cuff on the upper left arm. The bottom edge of the cuff should be 1 to 2 cm [1-2 cm distance] from the elbow. The air tube should be positioned towards the hand.
- Securely close the cuff using the fabric fastener. [Fabric fastener]
Right Arm Measurement:
The air tube should be placed beside the elbow. Ensure your arm does not rest on the air tube. Note that blood pressure can vary between the right and left arms. OMRON recommends using the same arm for all measurements. If values differ significantly between arms, consult your doctor about which arm to use for measurements.
Maintenance
- Clean the cuff using a soft, dry cloth or a soft, damp cloth with mild soap.
- Do not use gasoline, cleaning solvents, or similar solvents.
- Store the cuff away from extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, dust, or corrosive gases.
- Do not excessively bend or twist the air tube.
