OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff (CFX-WR17). This cuff is designed for arm circumferences from 9" to 17" (22 to 42 cm). Please refer to the original instruction manual of your Blood Pressure Monitor for complete usage guidelines.

• Use only the approved OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor with this cuff. It is compatible with OMRON Advanced Accuracy blood pressure monitors.
• Use the same arm cuff model as indicated next to the air jack. Do not use any other type of arm cuff.
• Do not wash the cuff or make it wet.

Instructions for Use

To apply the cuff correctly:

1. Remove tight-fitting clothing or rolled-up sleeves from your left upper arm. Do not place the arm cuff over thick clothes.

   Action: Insert the air plug into the air jack securely.

2. Apply the arm cuff to your left upper arm.

   Positioning: The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 1/2 inch (1 - 2 cm) above the elbow. The air tube should be on the inside of your arm and aligned with your middle finger.

3. Secure closed with the fabric fastener.

Taking Measurements on the Right Arm

If taking measurements on the right arm, the air tube should run along the inside of your arm. Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.

Note: Blood pressure can differ between the right and left arm. OMRON recommends using the same arm for all measurements. If values differ substantially, consult your physician.

Maintenance

• Use a soft and dry cloth, or a soft, moistened cloth with neutral soap to clean the arm cuff.
• Do not use gasoline, thinners, or similar solvents to clean the arm cuff.
• Do not store the arm cuff in extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, dust, or corrosive vapors.
• Do not bend or crease the air tube excessively.

Limited Warranty

The OMRON CFX-WR17 cuff is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided it is used in accordance with the instructions. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. At OMRON's option, any cuff covered by this warranty will be replaced free of charge. Replacement is OMRON's sole responsibility and the purchaser's sole remedy.

To obtain warranty service, contact Customer Service at 1-800-634-4350 for the address of the inspection center, return shipping and handling fees, and further instructions.

This is the sole warranty provided by OMRON for this product. OMRON disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this express warranty.

OMRON shall not be liable for loss of use or any other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect costs, expenses, or damages.

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Some limitations and exclusions may not apply due to local requirements.
