OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the OMRON Easy Wrap ComFit™ Cuff (CFX-WR17). This cuff is designed for arm circumferences ranging from 9 to 17 inches (22 to 42 cm). For detailed information, please refer to the original instruction manual of your Blood Pressure Monitor.

Important Safety Information

⚠️ Caution: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury to the user or patient, or damage to the equipment or other property.

• Use only with approved OMRON Blood Pressure Monitors compatible with the ComFit™ Cuff.
• Ensure you use the same arm cuff model as indicated next to the air jack. Do not use any other type of arm cuff.
• Do not wash the cuff or make it wet.

Instructions for Use (Left Arm)

Prepare the arm:

• Remove tight-fitting clothing or rolled-up sleeves from your left upper arm.
• Do not place the arm cuff over thick clothes.

Step 1: Insert the air plug into the air jack securely. (Illustration showing the air plug being inserted into the air jack.)

Step 2: Apply the arm cuff to your left upper arm. The bottom edge of the cuff should be 1/2 inch (1 - 2 cm) above the elbow. The air tube should be on the inside of your arm and aligned with your middle finger. Step 3: Secure the cuff closed with the fabric fastener. (Illustration showing the cuff being secured with a fabric fastener.)

Taking Measurements on the Right Arm

The air tube will run along the inside of your arm. Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.

Note: Blood pressure can differ between the right and left arms. OMRON recommends using the same arm for all measurements. If values differ substantially, consult your physician.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth, or a soft, slightly moistened cloth with neutral soap to clean the cuff. Do not use gasoline, thinners, or similar solvents.
• Storage: Do not store the cuff in extreme temperatures, high humidity, direct sunlight, dusty environments, or near corrosive vapors.
• Air Tube Care: Do not bend or crease the air tube excessively.

Limited Warranty

Your CFX-WR17 cuff is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided it is used according to the instructions. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. OMRON will, at its option, replace any cuff covered by this warranty without charge. Replacement is OMRON's sole responsibility and the purchaser's sole remedy.

This is the sole warranty provided by OMRON for this product. OMRON disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied warranties imposed by law are limited in duration to the period of this express warranty.

OMRON shall not be liable for loss of use or any other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect costs, expenses, or damages.

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Some limitations and exclusions may not apply due to special local requirements.
