Thank you for purchasing the OMRON HEM-FL31 cuff. The arm circumference for this cuff is from 22 to 42 cm. Please refer to the original blood pressure monitor user manual.

• This OMRON cuff can be connected to various OMRON blood pressure monitors.
• The cuff operates only with OMRON blood pressure monitors compatible with HEM-FL31, as indicated on the cuff label placed near the apparatus connector.
• Check your product to see which plug to use. Using the wrong plug may cause air leakage and incorrect readings.
• Do not wash or wet the cuff.

Instructions for Use

Remove tight clothing or tightly rolled sleeves from your left upper arm. Do not place the cuff over thick clothing.

1. Insert the air plug securely into the apparatus connector.

   Note: If using an air plug similar to the illustration on the left, insert the plug into the apparatus connector so that it clicks. ? [Click sound]

2. Place the cuff on your left upper arm. The lower edge of the cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above the elbow. The cuff should be positioned above the elbow with the air tube directed towards your arm.
3. Securely close with the fabric fastener.

Measuring on the Right Arm

The air tube is on the side of your elbow. Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.

Note: Blood pressure may differ between the left and right arms, and therefore the measured blood pressure may also show different values. OMRON recommends using the same arm for measurement. If the measured values on both arms differ significantly, please consult your doctor about which arm to use for measurement.

Maintenance

• Use a soft, dry cloth or a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent to clean the cuff.
• Do not use gasoline, thinners, or other similar solvents to clean the cuff.
• Do not store the cuff in extreme temperatures, high humidity, direct sunlight, dust, or corrosive vapors.
• Do not bend or crush the air tube excessively.
