Power Supply
Connect the included AC adapter to a standard 120V AC ~ 60Hz mains outlet and plug the other end into the DC 5V jack located on the back of the unit.
Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
- Use the rotary DIAL to adjust the hour. The PM indicator will illuminate when the hour is set to PM.
- Press the TIME button again to confirm the hour and make the minute digits flash.
- Use the rotary DIAL to adjust the minute.
- Press the TIME button to save the settings and exit, or the clock will automatically save and exit after 20 seconds of inactivity.
Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM button for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
- Use the rotary DIAL to adjust the hour. The PM indicator will illuminate for PM hours.
- Press the ALARM button again to confirm the hour and make the minute digits flash.
- Use the rotary DIAL to adjust the minute.
- Press the ALARM button again to set the alarm volume. The display will show '10' (default volume, max 16). Use the DIAL to adjust the volume level. The audible beep will change in pitch or volume according to the setting.
- Press the ALARM button to save the alarm settings and exit.
Using the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, press the ALARM button. The ALARM indicator will light up on the display, and the alarm will sound at the set time.
- To deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button again. The ALARM indicator will disappear, and the alarm will be OFF.
Snooze Function
When the alarm is sounding, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER rotary DIAL. The alarm will pause and sound again in approximately 9 minutes. This snooze function can be activated each time the dial is pressed while the alarm is sounding.
Dimmer Function
Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER rotary DIAL to cycle through five levels of display brightness: 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, and 5%. The 100% brightness is the default setting.
Bluetooth Function
- Press the BLUETOOTH button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The PAIRING indicator will flash blue rapidly.
- On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "SHARP" to pair.
- Upon successful pairing and connection, the PAIRING indicator will show a solid blue light, and a chime will sound from the unit.
- The unit will remain paired unless manually unpaired or the Bluetooth device is reset.
- Use the controls on your connected Bluetooth device to select and play tracks.
- Audio from the connected Bluetooth device will be played through the clock's speakers.
- Adjust the volume by rotating the DIAL on the top of the unit.
- To exit Bluetooth mode, press and hold the BLUETOOTH button for 2 seconds.
Playing Sleep Sounds
- Press the SOUND button to play the first sleep sound.
- Press the SOUND button repeatedly to cycle through the available sounds: White Noise, Pink Noise, Brown Noise, Rain, Thunder, and Ocean.
- Adjust the volume for sleep sounds by rotating the DIAL on the top of the unit.
- To turn off sleep sounds, press and hold the SOUND button for 2 seconds.
Volume Control
While playing sleep sounds or using Bluetooth, rotate the DIAL to increase or decrease the volume. The display will show the current volume level, ranging from 0 to 16.
Sleep Timer Function
When playing sleep sounds or using Bluetooth:
- Press and hold the DIAL, then rotate it to set the sleep timer for 90, 60, or 30 minutes.
- Release the dial when the desired sleep time is displayed, then press the dial again to confirm.
- The sleep sound or Bluetooth audio will automatically turn off after the set time.
- To check the remaining sleep time, press the DIAL; the display will show the countdown.
Note: The dimmer function is disabled when the sleep timer is active.
Battery Backup
- Open the BATTERY DOOR and insert 2 new "AAA" batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Use only new batteries inserted correctly for reliable backup.
- The battery backup will maintain the ALARM and TIME settings during a power interruption. The display will be off during battery power, but the alarm will sound at the set time.
- If power is interrupted without batteries installed, the display will flash "12:00", and the ALARM and TIME will need to be reset.
Care of Your Clock
- Replace the backup battery annually, or remove it if the clock will be stored without power.
- Clean the clock using a soft cloth or paper towel. Avoid using corrosive cleansers or chemical solutions.
- Keep the clock clean and dry to prevent issues.
Battery Precautions
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.

- Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine or fire.
