Atomic Clock Instructions & Warranty

Thank you for your purchase of this quality clock. The clock has a built-in receiver that automatically synchronizes itself with the Atomic WWVB radio signal broadcast by the U.S. Government's National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Atomic signal daily broadcast ensures that the atomic clock will always display the most accurate date and time. The utmost care has gone into the design and manufacture of your clock. Please read these instructions and store them in a safe place for future reference.

Product Overview

The clock display features indicators for Indoor Temperature, Atomic Signal Icon, Time Display, Date, and Indoor Humidity. Below the display are the Function Buttons: [SETTING/°F/°C], [FORWARD/+], [BACKWARD/-], [SNOOZE], and [ALARM].

Quick Start Guide

  1. Insert batteries into the battery compartment; the display will appear.
  2. Set the clock to your Time Zone & turn DST [Daylight Savings Time] ON through the [SETTING] button. (Eastern Standard Time & DST are on by default.)
  3. Set the time and date manually OR wait until the clock receives the Atomic signal. The signal is usually received overnight but will begin searching immediately. Once the clock receives the atomic signal, the time and date will be automatically updated.

Atomic Signal Icon

  • When the clock's built-in receiver secures full signal strength, the Atomic Signal Icon will appear on the display.
  • If the icon is NOT visible, the Atomic Clock was unable to receive a signal at this time.
  • If signal is not received, reposition the Atomic Clock for better signal reception or try again at bedtime.
  • The Atomic Clock will search hourly. The icon will blink when searching for the Atomic signal.
  • It is strongly recommended to start this clock at night and let it receive the signal automatically past midnight.
  • Always place the unit away from interfering sources such as TV sets or computers.
  • Avoid placing the unit on or next to metal plates.
  • Areas with access to windows are recommended for better reception.
  • Do not start reception in moving articles such as vehicles or trains.
  • Manual Atomic Time Search: Hold the [FORWARD/-] button to start a manual signal search.

Note: If the clock doesn't receive the WWVB Atomic signal immediately, wait overnight, and it will be set in the morning.

  2. Press [-/+] to turn OFF Atomic signal. This will stop the clock from searching for the Atomic signal.

Note: You do not need to turn off the Atomic reception to set the time manually. Once the clock receives the signal, it will adjust accordingly.
