Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of this quality clock. The utmost care has gone into the design and manufacture of your clock. Please read these instructions and store them in a safe place for future reference.
Controls
The clock features the following controls:
- 1. PM indicator: Shows PM time.
- 2. Qi indicator: Indicates Qi wireless charging status.
- 3. AL. VOL HI/LO switch: Adjusts alarm volume (High/Low).
- 4. ALARM 1 button: Controls Alarm 1.
- 5. ALARM 2 button: Controls Alarm 2.
- 6. SNOOZE/DIMMER button: Activates snooze or adjusts display brightness.
- 7. HOUR button: Advances the hour.
- 8. MIN button: Advances the minute.
- 9. TIME button: Sets the clock time.
- 10. Alarm 1 indicator: Shows when Alarm 1 is active.
- 11. Alarm 2 indicator: Shows when Alarm 2 is active.
- 12. USB charging ports: For charging external devices via USB.
- 13. Qi wireless charging area: The surface for wireless charging.

Power and Battery
Connecting to the Power Supply
Begin by plugging the power cord into a standard household outlet. The display will flash, indicating the time is ready to be set.
Installing the Time & Alarm Back Up Battery
The clock time and alarm settings can be maintained during a power failure using 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied). Once power is restored, check the time and re-set if necessary.
Inserting the Battery
- Open the battery compartment at the back of the unit by pressing the catch and removing the cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries (preferably alkaline) into the compartment, observing correct polarity as shown inside.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Charging Functions
Qi Wireless Charging
Place your Qi-enabled wireless device on the clock's charging area. Charging will begin on contact. The Qi indicator will be continuously solid when charging. For optimal charging, align the device with the center of the charging area. The device's own charging indicator will show normal charging status.

USB Charging
Connect your USB device to one of the USB ports on the clock. Use only with devices requiring 5V USB power. Each port provides 2,000mA recharging current. Devices requiring more than 2,000mA should not be used. Charging time may vary. This device is intended for smartphones only; charging tablets or laptops may void the warranty.
Setting and Using Functions
Setting the Clock
Press and hold the TIME button. While holding, press HOUR to advance the hour (PM indicator lights for PM times) and MIN to advance the minute. Release the TIME button when the correct time is displayed.
Setting the Alarm
Press and hold the ALARM 1/2 button. While holding, press HOUR to set the alarm hour and MIN to set the alarm minute. Release the ALARM 1/2 button when the correct alarm time is displayed.
Using the Alarm Function
Press the ALARM 1/2 button to activate the alarm; the alarm indicator will light up. Use the AL. VOL HI/LO switch to adjust volume. Press the ALARM 1/2 button again to deactivate the alarm.
Snooze Function
Pressing the SNOOZE button after the alarm sounds will pause the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again at that time.
Dimmer Function
Press the DIMMER button to cycle through three brightness levels: High, Medium, and Low.
Care of Your Clock
- Replace the backup battery annually or remove it when the clock is not in use for extended periods.
- Clean the clock with a soft cloth or paper towel. Do not use corrosive cleansers or chemical solutions.
- Keep the clock dry. Wipe dry immediately if it gets wet. Keep away from dust and dirt.
- Handle the clock carefully; do not drop it.
- Avoid excessive force, shock, dust, extreme temperatures, or humidity, as these can shorten the clock's life.
- Do not tamper with internal components, as this will invalidate the warranty and may cause damage.

This clock is compatible with a wide range of Qi-enabled smartphones, including:
- Samsung Galaxy: S20 Ultra, S20 Plus, S20, Note 10 Plus 5G, Note 10 Plus, Note 10, S10 5G, S10 Plus, S10, S10e, Note 9, S9, S9+, Note 8, S8, S8+, S7, S7 Edge
- Apple iPhone: SE 2020, 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, 11, XS Max, XS, XR, 8, 8 Plus, and all other Qi-enabled smartphones.
The "Qi" symbol is a trademark of the Wireless Power Consortium. The product is designed for Qi Certificate.

- Do not perform servicing beyond operating instructions unless qualified.

- Do not expose to rain or moisture; do not place liquid-filled objects on the apparatus.
- Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat.
- The mains plug/coupler must remain readily operable.
- This is a Class II or double insulated appliance; no safety connection to electrical earth is required.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. One Year Limited Warranty
M.Z. Berger & Company warrants the original consumer purchaser of this product that it shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the purchase date. This warranty does not cover defects caused by tampering, improper use, unauthorized modifications or repairs, immersion in water, or abuse. If a defect occurs during the warranty period, carefully wrap the clock and send it to M.Z. Berger & Co., Inc, 353 Lexington Ave - 14th Fl., New York, NY 10016. Include proof of purchase (original receipt or photocopy) and a check or money order for USD $6.00 to cover handling costs. Also include your return address. M.Z. Berger will repair or replace the clock. M.Z. Berger is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states may not allow this limitation.
