Intended Use
The luminaire is meant for standard use in damp environments and in outdoors areas which are covered by roofs. The luminaire is unsuitable for corrosive atmospheres (e.g. swimming pools, intensive animal husbandry, tunnels).
Safety Instructions
These instructions assume expert knowledge corresponding to a completed professional education as an electrician.
- Never work when voltage is present on the luminaire. Caution - Risk of fatal injury!
- Ensure that the luminaire is undamaged before installation and commissioning!
- The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect or unauthorized use or by non-observance of these instructions.
- Work on the luminaire (installation, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting) may only be carried out by an authorized electrician.
Technical Notes on Connections
- DALI: Basic insulation between supply-and control terminals.
- Through-wiring: Maximum 16 A per phase when through-wiring.
Installation Methods
Wall Mounted Installation
Step 1: Preparation
Open the luminaire. Select the preferred colour temperature for the product if using the CCT change function. Ensure all wires are accessible.
Step 2: Mounting Bracket
Securely mount the luminaire's bracket to the wall using appropriate fixings. Ensure it is level and stable.
Step 3: Wiring Connections
Connect the power supply and control wires. The connections are typically labelled:
- L = Switched Live
- ⏚ = Earth
- N = Neutral
- DA/V+ = DIM+ (for DALI control)
- DA/V- = DIM- (for DALI control)
A DALI connector block is usually provided for these connections.
Step 4: Attach Luminaire
Carefully attach the luminaire body to the mounted bracket. Ensure it clicks or locks securely into place.
Step 5: Completion
The wall-mounted installation is now complete.
Ceiling Mounted Installation
Note: Ceiling mounted versions typically have an IP40 rating.
Step 1: Preparation
Open the luminaire. Select the preferred colour temperature for the product if using the CCT change function. Ensure all wires are accessible.
Step 2: Mounting to Ceiling
Mount the luminaire directly to the ceiling using appropriate fixings. Ensure it is level and stable.
Step 3: Wiring Connections
Connect the power supply and control wires as indicated:
- L = Switched Live
- ⏚ = Earth
- N = Neutral
- DA/V+ = DIM+ (for DALI control)
- DA/V- = DIM- (for DALI control)
A DALI connector block is usually provided.
Step 4: Attach Luminaire
Secure the luminaire body to the ceiling mount. Ensure it is firmly attached.
Step 5: Completion
The ceiling-mounted installation is now complete.
Suspended Installation
Note: Suspended mounted versions typically have an IP40 rating.
Step 1: Preparation
Open the luminaire. Select the preferred colour temperature for the product if using the CCT change function. Ensure all wires are accessible.
Step 2: Adjust Suspension Wires
Use the adjustment mechanism on the suspension wires to set the desired length for the luminaire.
Step 3: Attach Suspension Wires
Attach the suspension wires to the designated points on the luminaire body.
Step 4: Feed Wires Through Mount
Feed the suspension wires and power/control cables through the ceiling mounting point.
Step 5: Wiring Connections
Connect the power supply and control wires. The connections are typically labelled:
- L = Switched Live
- ⏚ = Earth
- N = Neutral
- DA/V+ = DIM+ (for DALI control)
- DA/V- = DIM- (for DALI control)
Step 6: Secure and Complete
Ensure the suspension wires are securely locked in place (often with a 'Click' mechanism). The installation is now complete.

5-Year Warranty Policy
Aura Light offers a 5-year warranty regarding manufacturing and material defects in products manufactured and/or sold by Aura Light. This warranty applies provided that the product information, available digitally via www.auralight.com or in physical mailings, refers to this warranty policy.
The luminaire contains a control gear and a replaceable LED light source. These components shall only be replaced by the manufacturer.
