Quality Guarantee Information
The quality guarantee for office chairs is valid for 10 years from the date of purchase. Please retain your original receipt for warranty service.
10-Year Quality Guarantee
This quality guarantee applies to defects in material or workmanship of the office chair parts listed below:
- Structural frame
- Moving parts
Moving parts include components with moving or adjustable functions. This quality guarantee covers the functionality of parts such as casters, gas cylinders, mechanisms, armrests, and backrest adjustment mechanisms.
Quality Assurance During the Warranty Period
If a defect occurs in a product purchased from IKEA, and IKEA independently determines that the defect is due to the product itself, this quality guarantee will apply. If the defective product is covered by the guarantee, IKEA or its authorized service provider will repair or replace the product with the same or an equivalent model. IKEA will cover the costs of repair, parts replacement, and any associated labor or service call charges. This quality guarantee does not apply to repairs performed by parties other than IKEA or its authorized service providers, unless IKEA has approved it. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA.
If the product to be replaced is no longer manufactured or sold by IKEA at the time of exchange, IKEA will provide an equivalent replacement product of its choice.
Limitations of the Quality Guarantee
This quality guarantee does not apply if the damage or defect is caused by:
- Improper storage
- Incorrect assembly
- Improper use
- Use exceeding the specified load capacity
- Misuse
- Use for purposes other than intended
- Modification
- Cleaning with incorrect methods or unsuitable detergents
This quality guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, or damage caused by impact or accidents during everyday use.
This quality guarantee is not applicable if the office chair has been stored or used in a location with high humidity, such as outdoors or in a bathroom.
This quality guarantee does not cover indirect or consequential damages.

This quality guarantee provides customers with specific legal rights and statutory rights.
