FOXEER WildFire 5.8GHz Goggle Receiver User Manual
Introduction
WildFire is a diversity receiver which provides stable video feed in various environments such as indoor, outdoor and multi-path areas.
WildFire adopts a unique algorithm which benefits from fast switch between antennas without harm to video feed which may happen in other brand receivers. The algorithm can effectively minimize signal latency, increase switch rate and prevent frame rolls.
01 Main Menu
Long [long press] the [left button] to enter the Main Menu.
Short [left/right click] to browse all the modes.
MAIN MENU:
- CHANNEL
- FREQUENCY
- FAVORITES
- BAND SCAN
- FINDER
- SETTINGS
02 Channel
Check and choose all supported channels.
In CHANNEL mode, you can check the current frequency, choose frequency, check RSSI info, and choose the favorite frequency.
Button operations:
- Long [left button]: Go to the Main Menu.
- Long [right button]: Choose/Cancel the favorite frequency.
- Long [up/down button]: Turn to other bands.
- Short [up/down button]: Turn to other frequency in the same band.
03 Favorites
Lists all selected favorite channels.
In FAVORITES mode, you can check all the favorite frequency.
Button operations:
- Long [left button]: Go to the Main Menu.
- Long [right button]: Choose/Cancel the favorite frequency.
- Short [up/down button]: Turn to next frequency.
04 Finder
Tracks the signal. ?
In the FINDER mode, only bottom RX works; a patch antenna is recommended.
Button operations:
- Long [left button]: Go to the Main Menu.
- Short [up/down button]: Turn to next frequency in the same band.
- Long [up/down button]: Turn to next band.
05 Band Scan
Scan channels, find the best frequency.
In BAND SCAN mode, you can find the best frequency, then click it to set it as the current frequency.
Button operations:
- Long [left button]: Go to the Main Menu.
- Short [left/right button]: Turn to next frequency in the same band.
- Short [up/down button]: Turn to next band.
06 Settings
Set parameters.
In SETTINGS mode, you can set up based on personal preference.
Parameter Descriptions:
- SWITCHING: Fast / Slow / Off. Controls the 2 Rx switch rate; Fast is the default.
- OSD: ON / OFF. Enable/Disable OSD info.
- SHOW RSSI: 6 types of OSD RSSI style overlay on the screen.
- LBR: Left Bar.
- CBR: Center Bar.
- RBR: Right Bar.
- LDG: Left Digit.
- CDG: Center Digit.
- RDG: Right Digit.
- FS SWITCH: ON / OFF.
- ALL BANDS: ON / OFF. If ON, all 72CH frequencies are available. If OFF, only 40CH frequencies (A, B, E, F, R bands) are available.
- FAN: ON / OFF. Controls the fan on and off.
Button operations:
- Long [left button]: Go to the Main Menu.
- Short [up/down button]: Turn to the next option.
- Short [middle button]: Enter/Confirm.
