- If your skin becomes irritated while using the product, discontinue use and contact HP.
- CHILDREN. Never let children play with the product. Small parts can be a choking hazard.
- Do not disassemble the product, as you may be exposed to high voltage or other risks. Improper reassembly can cause electric shock or fire when the product is used later.
- Unplug, stop using the product, and contact HP if the product overheats or if the cord or plug is damaged.
- High volume or high sound pressure levels can lead to temporary or permanent hearing damage. Although there is no specific volume setting that suits everyone, always keep the volume at a moderate level when using the headset/earphones. Also, avoid exposing yourself to high-volume sound for extended periods. The higher the volume, the shorter the time required before hearing can be damaged. You may experience variations in sound volume when using the headset/earphones with different devices. The device and its settings affect the sound volume you experience. If you experience hearing-related discomfort, discontinue use of the headset/earphones while listening to the device and have your hearing checked by a doctor. Some hearing experts suggest considering the following to protect yourself from hearing damage:
- Set the volume control to a low volume before placing the headset or earphones over your ears and use the lowest possible volume.
- Avoid turning up the volume to overcome a noisy environment. Where possible, use the headset or earphones in a quiet environment with low background noise.
- Limit the time you use the headset or earphones at high volume.
- Turn down the volume if the sound from the headset/earphones is so loud that you cannot hear people speaking near you.
- If you use the headset/earphones while driving, first check local legislation governing the use of mobile phones and headsets while driving. Ensure you concentrate on safe driving.
- If you use a headset/earphones that cover both ears, your ability to perceive other sounds is impaired. In many regions, it is illegal to use a headset/earphones while operating a motor vehicle or bicycle and can put you and others at risk.
- If the product contains earbuds/ear cushions, install and use them in accordance with the supplied instructions. Do not force the earbuds/ear cushions into the ear canal. If they get stuck in the ear canal, seek immediate medical attention.
- Connect the AC adapter or charger to an outlet near the equipment and that is easily accessible.
Battery Warnings for Wireless Products
- If the product has a built-in battery that cannot be replaced, do not attempt to open the product or remove the battery, as this may cause personal injury and/or damage to the product. If the product has a replaceable battery, use only the battery type supplied by HP. Remove a depleted battery immediately.
- Replace rechargeable batteries after three years or 300 charging cycles, whichever comes first.
- Do not dispose of the product or battery in a fire or in heat above 40 °C. Do not expose the battery to extremely high temperatures. This may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Ensure the battery is not opened, deformed, or damaged. It may contain corrosive substances that can damage eyes or skin and may be toxic if ingested.
- Never put batteries in your mouth. If a battery is swallowed, contact a doctor or poison control center. Swallowing a battery can lead to burns, perforation of soft tissues, and death. Severe burns can occur within two hours of ingestion.
- Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not let the battery or its holder come into contact with metal objects, such as keys or coins.
- RECYCLING: You must recycle or dispose of the battery in this product. Contact your local recycling authority for information on proper battery disposal.
- Use only the supplied HP charger to charge the product and follow the supplied charging instructions. Alternatively, if your headset is designed for charging via a mobile phone charger, use only mobile phone chargers approved and supplied by the mobile phone manufacturer.
