Assembly Instructions
General Assembly Notes
Adult assembly is required. Before assembly and each use, inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Never use if parts are missing or broken.
Front Wheel Installation
1. Unlock the release lever. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling backward on the handle. Lean the stroller backward so it rests on the handle and rear axle frame, with the front wheel forks pointing upward.
2. Slide the front wheel onto the front forks. Ensure the wheel is securely attached.
3. Slide both retainer plates into the axle with tabs inserting into the fork slots. Use the axle nuts to tighten all parts securely onto the fork.
4. Tighten the axle nuts with a wrench. You should feel significant resistance, and the wheel should be held tightly in place. Reverse steps to remove the wheel.
5. Test the front wheel installation: Lift the front of the stroller and pull down on the wheel to ensure it is secure. The wheel must not come off.
6. If you experience front wheel wobble, tighten the front wheel housing nut located under the fender. Do not overtighten.
Fender Installation
7. Align the underside fender tabs to the holes under the front bars. Secure the fender in place. Insert and tighten the two screws. Do not overtighten.
Rear Wheel Installation
8. Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front wheel. Align the rear wheel's axle into the stroller frame bushing. Push the wheel into the bushing until it clicks. Repeat for the other wheel. Pull on the wheels to verify they are securely set. NEVER use the stroller if wheels are not locked. Contact customer service if issues arise.
Parent Tray Installation
9. Insert the hole on the parent tray into the pin on the handle. Align the opposite side and press down until it clicks. Pull up on the tray to verify proper installation. Be careful not to pinch fingers. To remove, pull outward on one end while lifting upward.
Canopy Installation
10. To open the canopy: Pull forward on the front edge while holding the rear in place.
11. To close the canopy: Push backward on the front edge towards the handle.
Child Tray Installation
12. Align the child tray at a 90° angle to your left side armrest. Push the tray in firmly to lock. Rotate the tray downward until latched onto your right side armrest. Check that the snap button securely latches the tray.
Child Seat Access and Removal
13. To access the child seat, press the tray release button and rotate upward. To remove the child tray, press the release button, rotate the tray 180°, and pull it out.
Seatback Positioning
14. The seat has a multi-position recline controlled by a strap and buckle assembly behind the seat. Loosen the strap to recline the seat. To return to an upright position, press upward on the seat back with one hand while pulling the strap with the other. The strap locks automatically. The upright position is for children 6 months and older. Always readjust the safety harness when repositioning the seatback.
Infant Car Seat Installation
15. Put the stroller seat in the full recline position. Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame. These tabs are only for the infant car seat. Ensure the front child tray is firmly attached.
16. Position the infant car seat facing the rear of the stroller. Push the car seat into the front tray until it latches. The rear of the car seat rests on the support tabs. Put the stroller seat in the most upright position for additional support.
Securing the Child
17. When the infant car seat is locked, secure the short clip over the car seat through the belt path. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that the clip is always tightly fastened. Always secure your child with the car seat harness when using the car seat in the stroller. Check that the child is secured with the harness. Improper use can result in serious injury or death.
18. To remove the infant car seat, remove the short clip, squeeze the release handle at the foot-end of the seat, and lift upward. Rotate support tabs up when not using the car seat.
Harness Adjustment and Release
19. The 5-point harness straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with or below the top of the child's shoulder.
20. Carefully place the child in the seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the shoulders.
21. To release the harness, push the red button on the center clasp. The two harness buckles will pop free.
22. To release each male clip, apply pressure to both sides until the clip is released. This requires moderate effort to prevent accidental release.
Jogging Safety
- ⚠️ WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.
- STRANGULATION HAZARD: Children can strangle in loose straps. Never leave a child in the seat when straps are loose or undone. When not in use, hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle and keep it out of reach of children.
- ⚠️ FALL HAZARD: Before running, jogging, or walking fast, lock the front wheel from swiveling to prevent tip-overs.
- When jogging, use the following safety features: Lock the front swivel wheel in a straight position. Use the tether strap by attaching it to your wrist for control in case of a fall.
Brakes
17. To engage rear brakes: Push down firmly on the brake to lock. Check that the stroller does not move and both brakes are properly applied. To unlock: Push up on the brake.
Front Wheel Lock
18. The front wheels have a swivel locking device. Push the button upward to engage locks and downward to disengage.
