General Safety Before Use
⚠️ WARNING: Always engage the brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide downhill.
⚠️ WARNING: Always lock the front swivel wheel in the STRAIGHT position before placing or removing children from the jogger.
Brakes
11. Engaging Brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. You may need to slightly move the stroller forward or backward to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. Diagram shows brake engagement.
NOTE: Ensure the stroller does not move and both brakes are properly applied.
To release the brakes, gently lift the brake lever.
Front Wheel Lock (Types vary)
⚠️ FALL HAZARD: To prevent tipping over before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.
12. Locking the Front Wheel: The jogger has a front wheel locking device. A remote release lever (under the right handle) disengages the wheel. Push to engage the locking device located under the footrest. The locking mechanism works vertically to lock and unlock the wheel. Diagrams illustrate the front wheel lock mechanism, showing both locked and unlocked states.
Securing the Child
⚠️ WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Children can strangle in loose straps. Never leave a child in the stroller with loose or undone straps.
13. Adjusting the Harness:
- The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position where the strap is level with or below the child's shoulder. Diagram shows harness strap positions.
- Place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male ends of the shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness snugly around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Diagrams illustrate harness adjustment and tightening.
Releasing the Child
14. Releasing Child:
- Type 1 Buckle: Push the button on the center clasp to release the two harness buckles. Diagram shows Type 1 buckle release.

When jogging with your child, use these safety features:
16. Safety Wrist Strap:
- Always connect the safety strap to your wrist when jogging. This strap prevents the stroller from rolling away if you trip. Diagram shows wrist strap connection.
- The safety strap must remain connected to the rear lower frame cross member at all times. This prevents the stroller from tipping backward if you fall. The strap includes a Velcro attachment for storage on the left side of the stroller when not in use. Diagram shows tether strap connection to the frame and storage.
Tires
NOTE: Check tires for correct inflation. Inflate tires regularly to the PSI indicated on each tire. Always use a bicycle-style hand air pump. Pump not included.
Folding / Unfolding
To Fold Stroller
⚠️ WARNING: Be careful when folding to prevent finger entrapment.
⚠️ CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while folding.
18. Folding Procedure:
- Close the canopy as described in the canopy section. Recline the seat by releasing the buckle as described in the seatback positioning section.
- The stroller folds by simultaneously pulling each trigger fold. When the fold latches release, the handle will drop. Release the fold buttons and press down on the stroller handle until it is fully folded. Secure the folded stroller by locking the fold latch (on the right side) over the frame rivet. Diagrams illustrate the folding mechanism and latching.
To Unfold Stroller
⚠️ WARNING: Be careful when unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.
⚠️ CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while unfolding.

Maintenance
Testing for Proper Wheel Installation
⚠️ FALL HAZARD: The wheel can detach and cause tip-over. Pull on the wheel to ensure it is securely attached.
20. Wheel Security Check: Lift the front of the stroller and pull down on the wheel to ensure it is securely installed. NOTE: The wheel must not come off. Diagram shows pulling the wheel to test security.
21. Adjusting Front Wheel Wobble: If the front wheel wobbles excessively during use, you may need to adjust the front wheel housing nut located under the footrest. Use a standard crescent wrench to tighten the nut. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, as this can damage the wheel housing. Diagram shows the location of the nut and the use of a wrench.
Wheel Adjustment
Note that three-wheeled vehicles can deviate from a straight line due to external factors like uneven tire pressure, improper wheel installation, road conditions, or manufacturing tolerances. If your stroller pulls significantly left or right on flat terrain, follow instructions on page 16 (referring to wheel alignment) to realign the front wheel.
Flat Tire
The jogging stroller uses bicycle tires for durability and ease of pushing. Like bicycle tires, these can go flat. You can repair a flat tire using a standard bicycle tire repair kit or take it to a bicycle shop. For frequent flats, consider purchasing thorn-proof inner tubes, available at bicycle stores or national retail stores. The correct tire size is indicated on the tire sidewall.
