Installation Instructions
- Hold the mounting bracket (A) so the two holes along its edge are at the top and bottom, with the attached ground screw facing outward.
- Carefully pull house wires through the round hole in the mounting bracket (A). Align the bracket's holes with the junction box holes.
- Thread junction box screws (B) into the mounting bracket (A) and junction box holes. Tighten screws (B) to secure the bracket. CAUTION: Ensure house wires are pulled completely through the bracket hole. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and the wall.
- Strip 3/4" (approx. 19.05 mm) of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not remove it completely. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough wire to connect to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the house ground wire together. Secure with wire nut (C). Tighten wire nut (C) completely. Refer to the wiring chart for correct connections.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Secure with wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Secure with wire nut (C). Refer to the wiring chart for correct connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
- Place the backplate (D) over the mounting bracket (A). CAUTION: Do not pinch wires between the backplate and the wall.
- Align the holes in the top and bottom of the backplate (D) with the holes in the mounting bracket (A). Thread fixture mounting screws (E) into each hole in the backplate (D) and mounting bracket (A). Tighten screws (E) to secure the fixture to the wall.
- Screw in the recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra type, not included) into the sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket. WARNING: DO NOT exceed the maximum bulb wattage.
