Shaking Food
How to shake:
- During the frying process, remove the food from the oven and shake or mix it.
- Place the baking tray on a heat-resistant stand or surface.
- Use the tongs to mix the food and stir or flip it.
Attention: After opening the oven door, the air fryer will automatically stop frying. For safety reasons, the screen will temporarily turn off until the oven door is closed, and the frying operation will automatically restart. Do not shake for more than 30 seconds, as the oven may cool down quickly.
Foods That Need Shaking:
- Small, stacked ingredients like french fries or chicken fillets normally need to be shaken or turned.
- If not shaken, these foods may not become crispy or cook evenly.
- You can turn other foods, like steaks, to ensure even browning.
Shaking Time:
- Shake or turn the food once during frying, or more times if necessary.
- Some modes have a “Shake Reminder” function (see “Cooking”).
Shake Reminder:
- The “Shake Reminder” will sound to remind you, and the ? icon will flash on the screen.
- If you do not open the door to remove the food, the “Shake Reminder” will sound again after 1 minute, and the screen will display "[Shake Reminder]".
- After opening the door to remove the food, the Shake Reminder will stop and the ? icon will turn off.
Cooking Guide
Overfilling:
- If the oven is overfilled with food, the food will cook unevenly.
Using Oil:
- Apply a small amount of cooking oil to enhance the freshness of the food. Do not exceed 30 ml of oil.
- A small amount of cooking oil can be spread evenly on the surface of all foods.
Tips for Frying:
- You can cook all frozen foods and other ingredients that can be baked in the air fryer.
- If you want to make cakes, handmade pies, or other delicate pastries, place the ingredients in a heat-resistant container and put them on the baking tray.
- Cooking foods with high fat content will cause fat to drip to the bottom of the oven. To avoid excessive oily smoke while frying, please place the protective tray at the bottom. Dispose of the remaining oil after frying.
- Pickled food will produce splattering and excessive smoke. Therefore, remove excess water before frying.
French Fries:
- Apply 8–15 ml of oil to improve crispiness.
- When making french fries from raw potatoes, soak the raw potatoes in water for 15 minutes before frying to remove starch. Before applying oil, dry excess water with a towel.
- Cut raw potatoes into finer pieces to improve crispiness. Try to cut potatoes into strips of 0.6x7.6 cm.
Meat:
- Ensure that large pieces of meat are completely defrosted before cooking.
- It is recommended to use a meat thermometer to cook meat to ensure it reaches the minimum safe internal temperature for consumption. The following table is used to check the internal temperature of cooked meat.
