Product Highlights

• HEAVY DUTY JUMP STARTER: GOOLOO GT-TRUCK starts all gas or 13.0L diesel engines with 6750 peak amps. It is specially designed to start big truck engines that other jumpers may not handle. It also works well with 12V earthmovers, farm tractors, and all makes and models of consumer vehicles including cars, pickups, ATVs, boats, and motorcycles.

Basic Operation & Flashlight

Powering On & Off

To check the charge level and provide power to the USB ports on the GT-TRUCK, quick press the main power button (7). The GOOLOO GT-TRUCK will automatically power itself off to save power when not in use.

Using the Flashlight/Worklight

• Flashlight: Press and hold the Multi-mode flashlight button (2) until the light turns on (approximately 3 seconds). When first turned on, it will be in Solid mode. A quick press of the flashlight button will switch modes to Strobe and then SOS. Another quick press will turn the flashlight off.
• Worklight: Press and hold the worklight button (3) until it turns on (approximately 3 seconds). To turn the worklight off, press and hold the worklight button until it turns off (approximately 3 seconds).

Attentions

• Discharge Rate: With the GT-TRUCK powered off and stored, the typical discharge rate is 2-3% per month. It is recommended to charge the GT-TRUCK back to 100% every 3 months to ensure maximum power when needed.
• Extreme Weather Storage: The GT-TRUCK can be stored safely in temperatures ranging from -22°F (-30°C) to +140°F (60°C). Room temperature (+72°F / +21°C) is considered the optimal operating range. If possible, bring the GT-TRUCK to room temperature before using for maximum effectiveness.
• Cold Weather Operation: Cold weather makes jump starting more difficult. To optimize starting, it is recommended to bring your GT-TRUCK to room temperature before boosting. If not possible, the first attempt may produce a weak output. This is normal as cold batteries have reduced output. Lithium batteries warm up fast from use. After each attempt, wait at least 30 seconds to allow the battery to warm up sufficiently before attempting the next boost. Do not crank for more than 5 seconds per time.

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Steps:

1. Make sure your GT-TRUCK has at least 75% (three bars) charge before boosting. A full charge is recommended for larger engines for more available boosting power.
2. Connect the red clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal or boost point and the black clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal or boost point. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual if you are unsure of their location. After connecting the clamps successfully, the "Start Light" should be solid green, indicating power is flowing and it is safe to proceed to Step 3. If the light is not solid green, refer to the troubleshooting guide.
3. Start your vehicle as normal using your key or by pushing the start button, if so equipped. If your vehicle fails to start or you see a red light and/or hear beeping, please refer to the troubleshooting section.
4. Once the vehicle is running, remove the red positive (+) clamp and then the black negative (-) clamp (in that order) from the vehicle's battery.

Tips & Tricks:

• It is possible to jump start most vehicles when the GT-TRUCK has a charge below 75%, but a more powerful boost is available at higher charge levels. Boosting with a charge level as close to 100% as possible is recommended.
• Most engines should start in less than 3 seconds. Do not crank for more than 5 seconds continuously, as this may cause damage or overheating to the GT-TRUCK.

Troubleshooting: Explanation of Lights and Alerts

• START LIGHT: GREEN LIGHT ON - Indicates a good connection and that the circuit is working. You may attempt to start the vehicle.
• START LIGHT: GREEN LIGHT BLINKING - Indicates the vehicle battery is low. Press the BOOST button (5). When the light illuminates a steady green, start the vehicle within 30 seconds.
• START LIGHT: RED LIGHT WITH BEEPING - Indicates the connection is incorrect; the clamps are reversed. Refer to STEP 2 of the "Starting a Vehicle" instructions. Once the GREEN LIGHT is on, it is safe to start the vehicle.
• START LIGHT: NO LIGHT AND NO BEEPING - Indicates the vehicle battery could be damaged or extremely low. Confirm the cables are properly connected. Press the BOOST button (5). When the light illuminates steady green, start the vehicle within 30 seconds.

Tips & Tricks Continued:

• In cold weather or for vehicles that are more difficult to start (older, in poor mechanical shape, vehicles that have been sitting for extended periods, etc.), multiple start attempts may be necessary. Crank the vehicle for no more than 5 seconds at a time and allow the jump starter to cool off for at least 60 seconds between attempts. If the vehicle fails to start after 5 attempts, it is recommended to use an alternate method or consult a mechanic.
• To maximize the power available to start your engine, please ensure to shut off all accessories not required for starting the vehicle, such as heaters, heated seats, radios, and any other electronics. This will ensure all power is directed to starting the vehicle.
• The SUPERSAFE features are designed to minimize the risk of boosting a vehicle, but it is impossible to eliminate all risk. Using the "Boost" feature means power is flowing once the green light is solid. It is important to be aware and willing to accept the risks that come with this.

Charging USB Devices

Steps:

• The GT-TRUCK has two USB ports: one High Speed USB Type-A port (Blue port) and one 2.4A USB Type-A port (White port). Plug your USB charging cable into the required port.
• Plug the other end of your USB charging cable into the device needing charge.
• For charging with the USB Type-A ports, quick press the power button (7) to initiate charging.

Tips & Tricks:

• Be sure to use a quality charging cable that is compatible and recommended by the manufacturer of the device you are charging for optimal results.
• The output level from the USB ports can vary depending on the type of cable being used and the requirements of the device being charged.

DC Output

The DC Output port is designed to provide mobile power to 12V devices such as air compressors, GPS units, and more. The port is rated for a maximum output of 12V/10A. As with any battery, the output voltage varies based on the charge level.

Steps:

• Open the rubber cover on the port labeled "DC POWER OUTLET" (4) and plug your 12V device in.

Tips & Tricks:

• Be sure to check the power draw of the device you are trying to power, as this port is limited to a 10A draw. Anything above that will cause power to be disabled to the port.
• The DC port is an output port used to power car products, NOT a charging port for the GT-TRUCK.

Charging the GT-TRUCK

The GT-TRUCK features an 18W max USB Type-C input charging port (8). This allows the GT-TRUCK to be charged with any compatible USB Type-C charging cable using most USB Type-A or Type-C ports on the market. Please note that power output from USB ports can vary significantly, which will affect total charge times. A full charge should take approximately 10.5 hours but will vary based on the charger used.

Steps:

• Plug the USB Type-C end of the included charging cable into the GT-TRUCK.
• Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into any appropriate USB charging port (Type-A or Type-C).

Tips & Tricks:

• It is important not to leave the GT-TRUCK completely discharged (one bar) for extended periods, as this could cause irreversible harm to the lithium battery.
• The GT-TRUCK is designed to prevent overcharging; however, it is best to unplug the charger once the charge level reaches 100%.
• It is best to charge the GT-TRUCK at room temperature. Allowing the GT-TRUCK to cool down after jump starting or warm up if it is in freezing conditions before charging will prolong and prevent damage to the internal battery.

CAUTION: If damaged or used under extreme conditions, the unit could potentially leak fluid. If this liquid comes in contact with skin, wash with mild soap and lukewarm water immediately. If liquid from the unit comes in contact with your eyes, rinse with cold water for 10 minutes and seek medical attention.

The costs of transporting products to GOOLOO for warranty service are the responsibility of the original purchaser. This limited warranty is void under the following conditions:

1. The Product is misused, subjected to careless handling, or operated under conditions of extreme temperature, shock, or vibration beyond GOOLOO's recommendations for safe and effective use.
2. The Product has not been installed, operated, charged, or maintained in accordance with approved procedures.
3. The Product is disassembled, altered, or repaired by anyone except GOOLOO.
4. The electrical connections to either the AC input or any of the DC outputs of the jump starter are modified.
5. The Product is subject to improper storage or accidental damage.
6. The original purchaser fails to provide the original bill of sale.

This limited warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
• Products where the purchase date is undeterminable.
• A decrease in maximum battery capacity. The maximum capacity of any battery, including the one built into the GT-TRUCK, will decrease with time or use, and battery cycle life will vary depending on use, temperature, and charge cycles. The battery is only warranted against defects in materials or workmanship resulting in failure of the battery to operate for the duration of the Limited Warranty period.
