Charge It First! While reading through the manual, you can start to charge your GT4000 with the car charger provided or a wall charger. Please note that the wall adaptor is not supplied for environmental protection purposes, but you can charge it with the wall adaptor that comes with your smartphone.

Warning: This unit is for vehicles (equipment) with 12V batteries. It may be dangerous if it is used with other types of batteries. Read and understand the safety information before using the jump starter. Failure to follow the safety information may cause damage to the jump starter, and may also result in electric shock, explosions, fire, property damage, and personal injury.

Product Parts and Functions Description

1. Display Screen: Shows battery percentage, charging status, and error messages.

2. USB-C In/Out Port (PD100W Max): For charging the jump starter or powering external devices via USB-C.

3. USB1 Out Port (QC3.0, 5V/9V/12V): For fast charging compatible devices.

4. USB2 Out Port (5V/2.4A): Standard USB output for charging devices.

5. DC Out Port (15V/10A, Max 150W): For powering 12V devices via the included cigarette lighter socket adapter.

6. Power Button: Press 1-2s to power on/off the jump starter, press about 10s to force shutdown.

7. BOOST Button: Press 1-2s to force output, and READY will be displayed on the screen. Use only when the vehicle battery is connected correctly.

8. 12V Battery Clamps Output: Connect to the vehicle's battery terminals. DO NOT press the BOOST button before connecting the clamps correctly.

9. LED Light: Turn on the unit first, then press the power button again for 1-2s to turn on the LED light. It has Normal, Strobe, and SOS modes.

Display Screen Instructions

1. Battery Power Percentage: Displays the current charge level of the jump starter.

2. Low Current Mode: Support charging for devices needing light current (e.g., headphones, smartwatches). Press POWER and BOOST buttons simultaneously for 2-3s to enable.

3. "+" and "-" Poles of Battery Clips Reversed: Indicates incorrect connection of the clamps.

4. Battery Low Temperature Reminder: Alerts when the battery is too cold for optimal operation.

5. Battery Pre-heating: GT4000 unique function. Activates in cold environments to warm the battery for starting.

6. Ready to Start the Vehicle: Indicates the jump starter is correctly connected and ready to start the engine.

7. Pre-heating Temperature Display: GT4000 unique function. Shows the pre-heating temperature.

8. Charging Power: Indicates the power input when charging the jump starter.

Support PD100W Max Speed Charging

This unit can be charged with the provided car charger or a quick speed wall charger (Quick Speed Wall Charger not included). Only via a PD100W USB-C wall charger or SC100W car charger can this unit achieve the 100W max input function. A PD100W USB-C quick speed wall charger needs to be purchased separately.

How to Start a 12V Vehicle

Ensure battery power is above 20% before starting.

Note: Do not press the BOOST button before connecting the vehicle battery correctly.

1. Connect Vehicle Battery: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
2. READY (Solid): The display screen should show "READY" with a solid indicator, confirming correct connection.
3. Start Vehicle Engine: Start the vehicle's engine.

Display Screen Indicators:

START ENGINE: Indicates the engine is being cranked.

100% READY: Shows the jump starter is ready and connected correctly.

LED Flashlight Operation

Power on the unit. Press the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn on the LED light. There are 3 modes: Normal, Strobe, and SOS. Press lightly to cycle through modes or turn off.

IP65 Water Resistance

This unit is IP65 rated, meaning it can withstand small splashes of water. Wipe it dry if it gets wet. However, it is not designed to be immersed in water.

Pre-heating Technology (Unique feature of GT4000)

The GT4000 can be used in environments as low as -40°C. It reaches the optimal starting temperature within 100 seconds after connecting the vehicle battery. The jump starter automatically activates the pre-heating function after connecting the vehicle battery or pressing the BOOST button for 1-2 seconds in extremely cold conditions.

DC Output Usage

Connect 12V devices that require power via a cigarette lighter socket using the included Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter.

Q1: What is the operating temperature of this unit and how to store it?
A: This unit uses a lithium polymer battery. The operating temperature is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). If the ambient temperature exceeds 60°C (140°F), the internal battery cells may be damaged, swell, or become unsafe. Do not store the device in a vehicle parked in hot weather for extended periods.

Q2: How to start a vehicle with this unit?
A: Please refer to the instructions in the "How to Start a 12V Vehicle" section.

Q3: How do you know if this unit is connected to the vehicle correctly?
A: With the battery clamps connected to the vehicle battery, if "READY (Solid)" appears on the screen, the clamps are connected correctly. If a reverse connection indicator appears, it means it's connected reversely.

Q4: What should I do if this unit can’t start a vehicle?
A: Recharge the unit fully. After connecting the vehicle battery correctly and seeing "READY (Solid)", try pressing the "BOOST" button, then start the vehicle within 30 seconds. If it still doesn't work, contact GOOLOO at contact@gooloo.com (include your order ID).

Q5: What should I do if this unit can't charge up?

Q6: What should I do if this unit can't charge other devices?
A: Try charging the device with another charging cable. If it works, the provided cable may be defective, and GOOLOO will provide a new one. If it still doesn't work, please email GOOLOO at contact@gooloo.com (include your order ID).

Q7: How to turn off this unit?
A: The unit will turn off automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity. Alternatively, press and hold the POWER button for about 10 seconds to force shutdown.

Q8: Can this unit charge other devices while it is being charged?
A: Yes.

Q9: Can this product charge other devices while starting a vehicle?
A: No.

Q10: How often does this unit need to be recharged?
A: It is recommended to recharge it every 3 months.

Q11: Why does it shut off in 30 seconds when charging other devices?
A: This unit may shut off automatically when charging devices that require a low charging current (e.g., headphones, smartwatches) due to a minimum load current limitation (200mA). Use the Low Current Mode for such devices.

• Do not over-discharge the unit (do not let the battery run out). Charge it regularly, preferably every 3 months.
• Ensure the blue plug of the jumper cable is fully inserted into the battery clamps output port to prevent melting.
• Make sure the battery terminals are clean before starting and that the battery clamps are well connected. Dirty or corroded terminals can reduce output power.
• Do not attempt to start the vehicle continuously more than 4 times within 10 minutes. If the engine fails to start within 3 seconds, stop cranking and wait at least 30 seconds before trying again.
• Do not connect the jump starter's clamps to the battery in reverse after pressing the "BOOST" button to avoid accidents.
• Use this unit to start the vehicle only when the battery power is above 20%.
• Do not recharge this product immediately after starting the vehicle; let it cool for 30 minutes before recharging.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Do not operate this product in explosive environments (e.g., where flammable liquids, gases, or dust exist).
• Do not modify or disassemble this machine. Only qualified service technicians can repair this equipment.
• Do not expose the product to extreme heat or fire.
• Do not drop or squeeze the device. If the device is severely impacted or damaged, it should be inspected by a qualified battery technician.
• Do not store in places where the temperature may exceed 60°C (140°F).
• Only charge at ambient temperatures between -10°C and 45°C (14°F and 113°F).
• Under extreme conditions, the battery may leak. If liquid leaks from the device, do not handle it with bare hands. If skin contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets into eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical help.
• The device contains a lithium battery. Dispose of the device according to local regulations at the end of its service life or if it leaks liquid.
