General Information

To avoid damaging the television set, please observe the following safety instructions during setup and use:

CAUTION: In extreme weather or long inactivity periods, disconnect the TV from the mains. The mains plug must remain readily operable for disconnection. If not disconnected, the device will still draw power even in standby mode.

Installation

Instruction:

  1. Place the TV unit on a flat and clean table.
  2. Fix the stand using 3 screws via screw holes B and A.
  3. Fix the stand using 3 screws via screw holes D and C.

General Description & TV Operation

Installing Batteries:

  1. Use the provided screwdriver to remove the battery cover screws and open the cover.
  2. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct polarity. Do not mix old and new batteries.
  3. Securely reattach the battery cover with the screws.

Note: Batteries typically last one year. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for a long period.

Remote Operation: Point the remote towards the TV's remote control sensor, effective within 7 meters.

Battery Disposal: Dispose of used batteries in recycling bins to protect the environment.

External Connection - Antenna:

The TV has a 75-ohm antenna input impedance. Use a 75-ohm coaxial cable. For 300-ohm flat twin-lead cables, use a 300-ohm to 75-ohm converter.

TV Operation:

  1. Connect the TV to power. The indicator light will turn red. Press the [Power Button] on the remote or TV to turn it on.
  2. Pair the remote control with the TV by pressing and holding [Back] and [Home] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  3. Press [Up Arrow] / [Down Arrow] to select system language and press [OK] to confirm.
  4. Press [Up Arrow] / [Down Arrow] to choose between setting up Google TV (requires Google account) or using basic TV functionality.
  5. Google Home App Setup: Scan the QR code to download the Google Home app on your phone for setup, or press [Up Arrow] / [Down Arrow] to set up directly on the TV.
  6. Wi-Fi Connection: Select your Wi-Fi network, press [OK], and enter the password.
  7. Accept Terms: To improve product experience, accept Google's Terms of Service.
  8. Location Setup: Set your location for local time and climate information.
  9. Time Zone Setup: Select your time zone.
  10. Daylight Saving Setup: Configure Daylight Saving settings.

Home Screen & Input Source

Home Screen:

After setup, you will reach the Home Screen. Here you can:

Input Source Selection:

From the HOME interface, navigate to the 'Inputs' icon using the arrow buttons and press [OK]. Select the desired input source from the list.

Dashboard:

The Google TV dashboard provides a central location for settings, notifications, picture settings, and more. Access it by pressing the [Dashboard Button] on your remote from the Google TV home screen. Use arrow buttons to navigate and [OK] to select.

Channels & Inputs:

To add channels: Go to Settings > Channels & Inputs > Channels. Select your signal type and start Channel Scan. For inputs, Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) allows operation of linked functions between compatible devices.

Accessibility:

  1. Navigate to Settings > System > Accessibility.

  3. Closed Captions: Turn on captions and customize their appearance (size, font, color, background).

Reset:

Restores the device to default settings, erasing all data, accounts, files, and downloaded apps.

Date & Time:

Configure automatic or manual date and time settings, and set the time zone and 24-hour format.

Language:

Set the on-screen display language. Options include English (Canada), English (United States), Español, and Français.

Keyboard:

Perform keyboard settings.

Storage:

View internal shared storage and removable storage.

Ambient Mode:

Set the TV to display Google Photos when idle.

Power & Energy:

Configure power-on behavior.

Cast:

Cast content from phones, tablets, or laptops to your Google TV.

Restart:

Reboots the TV, retaining all settings. For a factory reset, navigate to Settings > System > About > Reset > Factory reset.

Remotes & Accessories

Connect Bluetooth devices like headphones or game controllers. Only one audio device can be connected at a time.

Pair a Bluetooth Device:

  1. Go to Settings > Remote & Accessories > Pair accessory.
  2. Ensure your device is in pairing mode.
  3. Identify and select your device from the list.
  4. Confirm pairing on the request screen.

Reconnect a Paired Device:

Go to Settings > Remote & Accessories, choose your device, and select Connect.

Troubleshooting

Check the following measures for common symptoms. If problems persist, contact Customer Care.

Symptom Possible Solutions
No power Check power cord and outlet. Unplug and replug after 60 seconds.
No picture Check antenna connection. Tune to another station. Adjust contrast and brightness.
Good picture but no sound Increase volume. Check if TV is muted. Check sound settings. Ensure external device volumes are not low or off. Verify AVI/Component cable connections. Ensure headphone jack is not connected.
Good sound but abnormal color or no picture Check antenna connection and condition. Verify Component input connections.
No response to remote control Replace batteries. Clean remote control lens. Ensure you are within 8m and the path is clear.
Colored dots on screen This is a structural property of LED screens (e.g., dead pixels) and not a malfunction.
Picture is breaking up Keep TV away from noisy electrical sources. Check for electrical interference. Ensure space between optional equipment and TV. Check antenna and connection. Keep antenna away from power/output cables.
After Auto Tuning only some channels available Check if your area has Digital Video Broadcasts. Retune or manually tune channels. Ensure correct antenna type.
Channel cannot be selected Check if the channel is blocked in the main menu settings.
USB not playing Check USB cable and power supply. Ensure USB disk is compatible and formatted as FAT32.
Picture is distorted (macroblock, etc.) Compression of video contents may cause distortion, especially on fast-moving images.
Noise from speaker Check cable connections; ensure video cable is not connected to an audio input. Low signal levels may cause sound distortion.
TV turns off automatically Check if Off Timer or Sleep Timer is enabled. The TV may turn off if no signal is detected for 10 minutes.
TV turns on automatically Check if On Timer is enabled.
Picture is not shown in full screen Black bars may appear on HD channels (SD content) or on movies with different aspect ratios. Adjust picture size on the external device or TV.

WARNING: Never place a television set in an unstable location. Secure furniture and TV to prevent tipping. Educate children about climbing hazards.

Sylvox covers return shipping costs for quality issues. Restocking fees may apply for no-reason returns within 7 days. Ensure items are repackaged with all original documentation and accessories. Deductions may apply for damaged packaging or missing items.

Refunds:

After product verification, refunds are processed based on the original payment method, typically within 7-10 business days for credit/debit cards.

Warranty Not Covered:
