Troubleshooting

Check the following solutions for common symptoms. These issues may be due to incorrect adjustment rather than malfunction. Contact Customer Care if problems persist.

Symptom Possible Solutions
No power Check power cord and outlet. Unplug and replug after 60 seconds.
No picture Check antenna connection. Tune to another station. Adjust contrast and brightness settings.
Good picture but no sound Increase volume. Check if TV is muted (press MUTE ?). Check sound settings. Ensure external device volumes are adequate. Verify AVI/Component cable connections. If using DVI to HDMI, ensure a separate audio cable is connected and no headphone jack is in use.
Good sound but abnormal color or no picture Check antenna connection and condition. Verify Component connections are secure. Loose connections can cause color issues or a blank screen.
No response to remote control Replace remote control batteries. Clean the remote control lens. Ensure the remote is within 8m and has a clear line of sight to the TV.
Colored dots may be present on the screen This is a structural property of LED screens (minor pixel variations) and not a malfunction.
Picture is breaking up Keep the TV away from noisy electrical sources. Electrical interference (lightning) may cause issues. Ensure space between optional equipment and TV. Check antenna and connection, keeping it away from power/output cables.
After Auto Tuning only some channels are available Check if your area is covered by Digital Video Broadcasts. Retune or manually tune missing channels. Ensure correct antenna type is used.
Channel cannot be selected Check if the channel is blocked in the main menu settings.
USB not playing Ensure USB cable and power supply are connected. Check if the hard drive is formatted (FAT32 supported). Ensure USB disk compatibility and supported multimedia data formats.
Picture is distorted, macroblock, small block, dots, pixelization, etc Video content compression, especially on fast-moving scenes, can cause distortion.
Noise from speaker Check cable connections; ensure a video cable is not connected to an audio input. Low signal levels can cause sound distortion.
TV turns off automatically Check if the Off Timer or Sleep Timer is enabled in the Setup menu. The TV may also turn off after 10 minutes of no signal.
TV turns on automatically Check if the On Timer is set to On in the Setup menu.
Picture is not shown in full screen Black bars may appear due to aspect ratio differences (SD content on HD channels, or movies with different aspect ratios). Adjust picture size on the external device or TV.
