Riding Advice
The isinwheel S9 Pro is a recreational device, but it is considered a vehicle in public areas and is subject to the same risks. Always follow manual instructions and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Pedestrian Safety: Respect pedestrians' right-of-way. Avoid startling them, especially children. Sound your bell to alert pedestrians and pass on their left (where traffic drives on the right). Cross pedestrian areas at a low speed, staying to the right. If crossing a busy area, ride at the slowest speed or dismount.
- Manual Adherence: isinwheel is not responsible for financial losses, injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or other conflicts arising from actions that violate user instructions.
- Pre-Ride Check: Before each use, check the scooter for loose parts, low battery warnings, wear, strange noises, or any abnormal conditions. If any issues are found, stop riding immediately.
- WARNING - Fire Risk - No user-serviceable parts.
Folding and Transport
[folding diagram] Ensure the scooter is powered off. To fold, unlock the folding mechanism, then fold the handlebar stem down. Hook the stem loop onto the rear fender. To unfold, press the bell trigger to release the stem from the fender loop, raise the handlebar stem, and lock the folding mechanism securely.
Disc Brake Adjustment
To Adjust Disc Brake Sensitivity: You will need the Allen key to loosen the screw on the rocker.
- If the brake is too sensitive, turn the disc brake rocker slightly downwards. Reinstall and tighten the screw on the brake cable core. [brake adjustment diagram 1]
- If the brake is not stopping effectively, turn the disc brake rocker slightly upwards. Reinstall and tighten the screw on the brake cable core. [brake adjustment diagram 2]
Note: Disc brakes may produce squeaking sounds during initial use until they are properly broken in. This is normal and does not affect brake performance.
To Remove Disc Brake Noise: Ensure the scooter is powered off. For easier access, place the scooter on a desk.
- Loosen the two screws on the brake caliper (not the rocker screw). [caliper screws]
- Adjust the position of the disc brake caliper so that the brake disc is centered between the two brake pads.
- Ensure the brake disc and pads do not touch each other.
- Hold the brake caliper in the desired position and retighten the caliper screws.
Daily Care and Maintenance
Cleaning and Storage
If you notice stains on the scooter's body, wipe them with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe again with a damp cloth.
Remarks:
- Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents, as this may cause damage.
- Do not wash the deck with a high-pressure water sprayer. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is off, the charger is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed to prevent water leaks that could cause electric shock or other major issues.
- When the scooter is not in use, store it indoors in a dry, cool place. Avoid leaving it outdoors for extended periods. Excessive sunlight, overheating, and excessive cooling can accelerate battery degradation.
Battery Maintenance
- Use original batteries. Using other models or brands may lead to safety issues.
- Do not touch the battery contacts. Do not disassemble or puncture the casing. Keep contacts away from metallic objects to prevent short circuits that could damage the battery or cause injury or death.
- Use the original power adapter to prevent potential damage or fire.
- Improper disposal of used batteries can cause significant environmental damage. Please follow local regulations for proper disposal.
- After each use, fully charge the battery to extend its lifespan.
Storage and Disposal
- Store the scooter in a cool, dry place, ideally between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C to 40°C). In extremely humid environments, condensation can form inside the scooter, potentially damaging the battery. The device is not intended for use at altitudes above 2000 meters. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements can damage the casing materials; store indoors when not in use.
- During daily use, try to avoid recharging the scooter only after the battery is completely depleted. If the battery is low, recharge it as soon as possible.
- Recharge the scooter every two months to preserve battery health.
