Riding Fundamentals
⚠️ Use a helmet and knee pads in case of falls and injuries when learning to ride the scooter, as shown in the figure.
- Turn on the device and check the electricity indicator.
- Place one foot on the base and push off with the other.
- When the scooter starts to move by inertia, place both feet on the platform and press the accelerator (the accelerator engages when inertia speed exceeds 3 mph).
- Release the accelerator, and the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) will automatically engage to slow down gradually; squeeze the brake lever to brake sharply.
- Lean your body in the direction of travel when turning, and turn the handlebars slowly.

Safety and Operation Notice
The iSinwheel S9MAX electric scooter is a leisure device. However, in public areas, it is considered a vehicle and subject to vehicle risks. For your safety, follow the manual's instructions and traffic laws established by governmental and regulatory bodies.
- Respect pedestrian right-of-way. Avoid startling them, especially children. When riding behind pedestrians, ring the bell to alert them and reduce speed to pass on their left (applicable to countries where vehicles drive on the right). When crossing paths with pedestrians, stay to the right and at low speed. When encountering pedestrians, maintain the lowest speed or dismount.
- Follow the manual's safety instructions carefully. iSinwheel is not responsible for economic losses, physical injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or other conflicts of interest resulting from actions that violate user instructions.
- Check the scooter before each use. If you notice loose parts, low battery alerts, excessive wear, strange noises, malfunctions, or other abnormal conditions, stop riding.
- ⚠️ WARNING - Fire Hazard - No user-serviceable parts.
Folding and Transport
[Diagrams illustrating the folding and transport mechanism. Step 1 shows unlocking the folding mechanism. Step 2 shows folding the handlebar stem and engaging the hook with the rear fender.]
Ensure the scooter is turned off. To fold, unlock the folding mechanism and fold the handlebar stem to engage the hook with the rear fender. To unfold, press the bell trigger to release from the hook, lift the handlebar, and lock the folding structure.
Disc Brake Adjustment
To adjust disc brake sensitivity: You need the Allen key to loosen the rocker screw.
- If the disc brake is too sensitive, turn the disc brake rocker slightly downwards. Then, reinsert the screw into the brake cable core and tighten.
- If the disc brake cannot stop, turn the disc brake rocker slightly upwards. Then, reinsert the screw into the brake cable core and tighten.
Note: The disc brake may squeak during initial use until it is run in. This is normal and does not affect brake function or performance.
To eliminate disc brake noise:
First, ensure the scooter is turned off. For easier handling, we suggest placing the scooter on a desk.
- Loosen two screws on the caliper (not the rocker screw).
- Adjust the position of the disc brake caliper to ensure the brake disc is centered between the two brake pads.
- Ensure the brake disc and brake pad do not touch.
- Hold the disc brake caliper in the desired position and retighten the caliper screws.
Cleaning, Storage, and Battery Maintenance
Cleaning and Storage:
If you see stains on the scooter body, clean them with a damp cloth. If stains do not come off, apply a small amount of toothpaste and scrub with a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Notes:
- Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents to avoid serious damage.
- Do not wash the dashboard with a high-pressure water jet. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber cover is closed, as water leaks can cause electric shock or other serious problems.
- When the scooter is not in use, store it in a cool, dry place.
- Do not leave it outdoors for extended periods. Excessive sunlight, overheating, and overcooling accelerate battery life.
Battery Maintenance:
- Use original batteries; using other models or brands may cause safety issues.
- Do not touch the contacts. Do not disassemble or puncture the casing. Keep contacts away from metallic objects to prevent short circuits that could damage the battery or cause injury or death.
- Use the original power adapter to prevent potential damage or fire.
- Improper handling of used batteries can cause significant environmental damage. To protect the environment, follow local regulations for proper disposal of used batteries.
- After each use, fully charge the battery to prolong its lifespan.
Storage and Disposal:
- Please try to store the scooter in a cool, dry place between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C and 40°C). In extremely humid environments, the scooter's interior may experience condensation or water accumulation, which can rapidly damage the battery. Devices are not intended for use at elevations above 2000m. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements can damage casing materials; store indoors when not in use.
- In daily use, try to avoid recharging the scooter immediately after it has completely run out of battery. If the battery is low, charge it as soon as possible.
- Please charge the scooter every two months to preserve the battery.
