Mounting and Wiring
This guide outlines the steps for securely mounting and wiring your Kichler outdoor wall light.
- Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box using the provided screws, adjusting as needed for fixture alignment.
- Make wire connections according to the provided chart, ensuring proper grounding. Connect the black or red supply wire to the black wire and the white supply wire to the white wire.
- Carefully push the fixture to the wall, ensuring all wires are safely inside the canopy.
- Secure the fixture using the mounting screws and lockup knobs.
- Attach the glass shade by threading the socket ring onto the socket.
- Insert the recommended bulb (not supplied).
Outdoor/Wet Location Installation
For outdoor or wet locations, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and flat. Caulk around the canopy where it meets the wall to prevent water from entering the outlet box.
