1. Feature

3. Description

The PIR sensor unit comprises a Fresnel lens, a magnetic holder for mounting, an indicator light, a SET button, and a back case. The battery is a separate purchase.

4. Battery Installation

To install the battery, first open the back case by turning it anticlockwise. Then, insert a CR123A 3V battery (purchased separately) into the compartment.

5. Link/Unlink

The PIR sensor needs to be paired with compatible lights. Multiple lights can be controlled by a single sensor.

1). Linking Code Instructions

1. Power off the device for 10 seconds, then power it back on.
2. Short press the "SET" button three times within 3 seconds.
3. The indicator light will blink three times slowly, confirming successful linking.

⚠️ Linking failed if the light does not blink slowly. Please repeat the steps. Note: Lights that have already been linked cannot be linked again.

2). Unlinking Code Instructions

1. Power off the device for 10 seconds, then power it back on.
2. Short press the "SET" button five times within 3 seconds.
3. The indicator light will blink ten times quickly, confirming successful unlinking.

⚠️ Unlinking failed if the light does not blink quickly. Please repeat the steps. Note: Lights that have not been linked do not require unlinking.

6. Function Description

Brightness feature while motion detected: When motion is detected, the light automatically turns on. The brightness can be set to "previous brightness" or "100% brightness".

Light Sense:

• ON: The PIR sensor operates only in gloomy areas.
• OFF: The PIR sensor operates in any location.

Night Light:

• ON: The light turns on automatically in a gloomy environment (brightness set to 1%) and turns off when the environment becomes bright.
• OFF: The light remains off when no motion is detected, regardless of the environment.

Hold time while motion detected: (Options: 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes). For example, if motion is detected and the timer function is activated for 30 seconds, the light will turn off if no new motion is detected within that 30-second period.

7. Function setting method

Factory default settings: Brightness feature while motion detected: 100%, Hold time while motion detected: 30 seconds, Light sense: OFF, Night Light: OFF.

The maximum control distance is 30m.

Procedure:

1. Long press the "SET" button. The indicator light will flash quickly to initiate the setting mode. (Note: The system will exit setting mode if there is no operation within 10 seconds).
2. Short press the desired keys on the remote control as detailed in the table below for specific functions.

Note*:

1. If the night light is in the OFF state, the light will revert to the "previous brightness" setting when motion is detected.
2. If the night light is in the ON state, the light will adjust to "20% brightness" when motion is detected.

Reset to factory settings: Press and hold the "SET" button for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes slowly three times to confirm the reset.

9. Installation Direction

1). Location:

Install the sensor in areas where people typically cross over. The sensor should be mounted approximately 2 meters above the ground. The detection range is shown in the diagrams below:

Useful detecting area (vertical view): Covers a 120° angle horizontally and up to 7 meters in distance, from a height of 2 meters.

Useful detecting area (overhead view): Shows the coverage pattern from above, also indicating a 120° detection angle and up to 7 meters distance.

2). Placement Recommendations:

Avoid installing the sensor near sources of heat or temperature fluctuations such as air conditioners, refrigerators, or ovens. Do not expose the sensor directly to sunlight.

3). Mounting:

Remove the sticker from the back of the sensor unit. Then, attach the magnetic base holder to a suitable mounting surface.

10. Attention

1. If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery and store it in a dry, static-free environment.
2. Avoid placing the sensor near metal objects or areas with strong electromagnetic fields (hertz), as this can interfere with its communication distance.
