MIBOXER 2.4GHz Gateway Instruction

Download and Install "Tuya Smart" APP

Search for "Tuya Smart" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code. Please create an account if using it for the first time.

Pairing with Network (5G router is useless)

1. Wire the gateway with a power source and enable your smartphone to connect with Wi-Fi.
2. Standby pairing with Network: Confirm the "SYS" indicator is flashing quickly. If the indicator does not flash quickly, please long-press the "SET" button for 3 seconds.

Adding Device in the App

1. Click the "+" icon in the App.
2. Select "Lighting".
3. Find and select "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the process.

Copy Remote

If you have multiple lamps already linked with a remote, the gateway offers two control solutions:

• Way 1: Follow the instructions for linking the gateway and then link it with your lamp. (Disadvantage: time-consuming)
• Way 2: Use the "Copy remote" function. This allows control of lamps immediately after copying is done. (Advantage: time-saving)

How to copy remote?

1. Click "Set".
2. Click "Copy remote".
3. Click "Copy".
4. Follow the App instructions to complete.

Clean up

Clean up a copied remote to divide it from the gateway.

Attention: The gateway can only copy one remote at a time. It will replace the previous one if a new remote is copied.

Select Zones

How to select zones?

1. Click the connected gateway (e.g., "2.4G Gateway").
2. Explanation:

App Interface Description: Screenshots show the zone selection interface. The first shows a list of zones (ALL, Zone 1-5) with a "Choose zone" button. The second shows controls for "Zone -1" and "Zone +1" with a numerical display, and a "Choose zone" button.

Short press to select zones (Master zone, 1-16 group zone).

Short press to select zones (Master zone, 1-100 group zone). Attention: "0" means master group.

Rename Group Zones

Attention: Only supports renaming the master zone and zones 1-16.

1. Long press "Choose zone".
2. Click the zones you want to rename (e.g., ALL).
3. Type the new name.
4. Click "Save".

Link/Unlink Instruction

The lamp must be linked with the gateway. One zone can control countless MiBoxer 2.4G lamps.

Link:

1. Select group zones.
2. Power off lamps and power on again after 10 seconds (refer to lamp instruction).
3. When the lamp is on, short press "Link" once.
4. Linking is done when the light flashes 3 times slowly.

Unlink:

1. Select group zones.
2. Power off lamps and power on again after 10 seconds (refer to lamp instruction).
3. When the lamp is on, short press "Unlink" once.
4. Unlinking is done when the light flashes 10 times quickly.

Share Device in Home

1. Click the edit icon (pencil symbol).
2. Click "Share Device" and follow the instructions on the App.

Alexa Voice Control Instruction

Please add the device into the Tuya Smart App (details on page 4) before performing these steps.

1. Open the Alexa App.
2. Click "More" on the bottom right corner.
3. Click "Skills & Games".
4. Click the search icon (magnifying glass) on the top right corner.
5. Type "Smart life" and search.
6. Click the "Smart Life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

Alexa Voice Group Control

Use voice commands to switch zones first, then control lamps (turn on/off, dim brightness, adjust color). Commands include:

• "Alexa, set the <device name> group to 7."
• "Alexa, decrease the group on the <device name> by 3."
• "Alexa, what's the <device name> group?"
• "Alexa, set the group on the <device name> to (0-100)"

Google Home Voice Control Instruction

Please add the device into the Tuya Smart App (details on page 4) before performing these steps.

1. Open the Google Home App.
2. Click "+" on the top left corner.
3. Click "Set up device".
4. Click "Works with Google".
5. Click the search icon (magnifying glass) on the top right corner.
6. Type "Smart life" and search.
7. Click the "Smart Life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

Attention: Google Home does not support group control.
