Product Introduction

The Aqara Vibration Sensor T1 is a smart home device equipped with a high-precision acceleration sensor designed to detect vibration and movement of objects. It utilizes the low-power Zigbee communication protocol to connect with an Aqara Zigbee hub. This sensor can trigger various smart home scenarios, such as activating a hub's alarm upon detecting glass breakage or sending alarm notifications to a connected mobile phone.

Device Components and Functions

Reset Button:

• Long press 5s: Resets the sensor and allows it to be paired again.
• Click once: Verifies effective communication distance. [Icon: A small button labeled 'Reset']

Device Access (Adding the Sensor)

1. Download the latest version of the Aqara Home App from the App Store.
2. Ensure your Aqara Home account is linked to an Aqara hub. Refer to the hub's manual if it's not yet bound.
3. Open the Aqara Home App, navigate to the homepage, and tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner to access the "Add Device (Accessory)" page.
4. Select "Vibration Sensor T1" and follow the on-screen prompts. Alternatively, scan the QR code located on the device itself from the "Add Accessory" page.

Troubleshooting: If device adding fails, move the product closer to the hub, restart the device, and try again.

Connection Verification:

• Change a setting for the device via the App. If the device's status updates, the connection is normal.
• Effective Distance Verification: Click the Reset button once. The hub will emit a sound if the device and hub can communicate effectively. (This function is supported by the Aqara Home app only).

For the best user experience, update the device's firmware to the latest version after binding.

Product Installation

Choose one of the following installation methods:

• Method 1: Place the sensor directly on a desired flat surface without using adhesive.
• Method 2: Affix the sensor to a wall or other surface using the included adhesive sticker.

Installation Notes:

• Ensure the surface for sticker application is clean and dry.
