Addendum - Suggested Wiring Configuration

Firmware Version
Minimum Firmware Version: 76.[60]
To add firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Programming Bypass Option
If equipped with OEM alarm: Program bypass option.
- D2: Unlock before / Lock after (Disarm OEM alarm)
- A11 (OFF/NON): Hood trigger (Output Status)
If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin:
- Set function A11 to OFF/NON.
Mandatory Installation - Hood Pin
Hood Pin: Hood status: The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF/NON.
Notice: The installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
Warning: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. A wrong connection can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Wiring Connections
Refer to the diagrams for specific connection points:
- 1. Passenger-side kick panel, top-left of junction box (back view).
- 2. Ignition harness (starter, 12V, accessory, ignition).
- 3. OBD-II connector.
- 4. Driver's-side kick panel.
- 5. 4-Pins White connector.
- 6. At brake switch.
Specific Wire Connections:
- CAN Bus Connections: CAN1 HIGH, CAN1 LOW, CAN2 HIGH, CAN2 LOW
- PATS Data: Connect to the PATS Data wire.
- Foot Brake: Connect to the foot brake switch.
Note for US Models: If the PATS Data wire is not present, the vehicle is not equipped with an immobilizer. Use programming #2 for CAN functions.
Programming Procedure
General Steps:
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector). LEDs (Blue, Yellow, Red, Blue & Red) will illuminate alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the YELLOW LED is ON. If the LED is not solid YELLOW, disconnect and restart from step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The RED LED will flash 10 times. Wait until the RED and YELLOW LEDs turn ON.
- Turn the key to the OFF position.
Programming may take up to 5 minutes.
To test features: Use the remote of the remote starter or security system.
Programming Procedure (Vehicles without PATS Data Wire)
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector). LEDs (Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue & Red) will illuminate alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is ON. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect and restart from step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Turn the key to the OFF position. The BLUE LED will turn off.
The module is now programmed.
