First Setup
Automatic Earbud Pairing
Press and hold the buttons for 3+ seconds to POWER ON. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.
Connecting to Bluetooth
Select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" in your device's settings. A voice prompt "Bluetooth is connected," followed by a white flashing light, means you have successfully connected.
Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices
TURN OFF Bluetooth from the previously connected device. TURN ON Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" in your device's settings to connect.
Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: single tap
- Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): double tap
- Ambient / ANC ON / ANC OFF: Press & hold 1+ sec
- Power On: press and hold 3+ sec
- Change EQ: triple tap (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings)
Right Earbud
- Volume Up / Answer Call: single tap
- Play/Pause: double tap
- Skip Track Forward / Reject Incoming Call: Press & hold 1+ sec
- Power On: press and hold 3+ sec
- Change EQ: triple tap (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings)
Music / Movie Mode
Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for 3+ seconds.
Turning Off Without Charging Case
Turn off Bluetooth in your device's settings. The earbuds will then turn off automatically after 3 minutes.
Custom EQ3 Sound Modes
Tap either the left or right earbud three times for different EQ settings (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ presets).
- JLab Signature: JLab C3™™ signature sound with boosted bass and vocals.
- Balanced: Even sound without additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
Charging Earbuds
Connect the corresponding L and R earbuds to the charging case for proper charging. The earbuds will automatically turn OFF and begin charging.
Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn solid white when fully charged.
The earbuds will automatically turn ON and connect to your device when removed from the case.
Charging the Case
Connect the JBuds Air ANC to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) output device.
LED lights pulse white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
Setup
Ear Tip Fit
Try all optional "Cush Fin" and ear tips for the best fit and proper placement.
The "Cush Fin" should connect by positioning its shape around the microphone port.

Activating Tile may reduce earbud playback time.
Download the App
Customize JBuds Air ANC features and update to the latest software. Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple/Google Play store.
Echo on Calls
If you experience microphone echo or call quality issues with JBuds Air ANC, ensure the "Cush Fin" is not blocking the microphone input.

Troubleshooting
No Sound in One Earbud or Earbuds Are Off (Manual Reset)
- Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and "forget" JLab JBuds Air ANC.
- Open the charging case and keep the earbuds inside.
- On ONE earbud, quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times and then turn off. Repeat these steps for the other earbud: quickly tap the sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times and then turn off.
- Wait 10 seconds and open the charging case. Wait for both earbuds to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair to your Bluetooth device.

Quick Tips
- Either earbud can connect to your device and be used independently. Simply remove one earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
- Choosing the correct ear tip significantly improves audio quality due to proper driver placement. Try all ear tips for the best results.
Warnings
Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to avoid damage to the case.
Earbuds are sweat/water resistant, but the case is not.
Precautions
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop or break the earbuds.
- Earwax may accumulate on ear tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully remove earwax using a cotton swab or similar tool to restore sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try reducing the volume or taking a break from using them.
- If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- Treat your earbuds with care, similar to a pair of sunglasses, and store them in a safe place when not in use.
