Introduction

The next generation of Honeywell V-Plex® PIR (Passive Infra-Red) and Microwave motion sensors, based on the award-winning IS3000 and DUAL TEC® DT8000 series, offers simple installation, superior detection, and minimal false alarms. These V-Plex Motion Sensors are compatible with Honeywell control panels that support V-Plex devices, including Honeywell's MAXPRO® Intrusion Control Panel Series, utilizing two-wire loop technology for efficiency.

V-Plex Patented Polling Loop Technology

By using two wires instead of four, V-Plex provides significant advantages over peer-to-peer wiring or conventional four-wire multiplex systems. Each sensor can be installed using only two wires for both power and data, reducing wiring costs. V-Plex devices also draw minimal current, requiring fewer auxiliary power supplies.

Designed for Faster Installation

Features like mounting screw pre-drill collars and retention features, removable connector blocks for easy access, and a patented flashlight walk test facilitate quick installation, reducing labor costs and enabling faster job completion.
