Download & Install App

Account Registration

New users must sign up for a ZUMIMALL App account using email. Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration.

Camera Setup

5.1 Preparations for Connection

5.2 Connect Camera to App

Follow these steps within the ZUMIMALL App:

  1. Tap '+' to add a new device.
  2. Select 'Battery Camera'.
  3. Tap 'Next' to proceed.
  4. Reset the device by holding the RESET button for 4-5 seconds until a flashing RED indicator light appears, then tap 'Next'.
  5. Input your Wi-Fi password for your 2.4G network.
  6. Prepare for scanning: Remove protective film from the lens. Tap 'Next' to display a QR code. Position your phone 5-8 inches from the camera lens.
  7. Scan the QR code with the device. A tone will confirm successful scanning.
  8. The app will then connect the camera to the network and register the device. Ensure the camera and phone remain close to the router for optimal signal.

Camera Installation

Magnetic Ball Holder

  1. Choose a suitable location for camera housing. Ensure the mounting surface is stable.
  2. Attach the bracket mount to the desired location using the double-sided adhesive.
  3. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before attaching the camera.
  4. Adjust the camera's viewing angle. For safety, ensure the surface is flat, clean, and indoor.

Outdoor Metal Mount

  1. Fix the bracket to the desired location using the supplied screw.
  2. Connect the camera to the bracket using the Joint Lock and secure it.
  3. Adjust the camera's viewing angle. Ensure the Joint Lock is tightened to prevent the camera from dropping.

Mounting Height: Mount the camera at least 7 feet (2 meters) above the floor and aim it slightly downward for optimal sensor performance.

Monitoring Area

Avoid installing the camera vertically towards moving objects to prevent missed detection or delays. It is recommended to position the PIR sensor with an angle of more than 10 degrees relative to detected objects. The motion sensor is more sensitive to side-to-side movement than direct forward/backward movement.

PIR Body Detection

11.1 Body Detection Alarm Setting

The 'Body Detection' feature is set to 'High' sensitivity by default but can be adjusted. Higher sensitivity provides a longer detection distance and potentially more alarms.

Sensitivity Detecting Distance (For moving and living objects)
Low Up to 5 meters (16ft)
High Up to 10 meters (32ft)

The alert is triggered only when human motion is detected. You can also set 'Day Detection', 'Night Detection', and 'Alert Plan' for specific time periods.

Alarm Notification

This camera is designed to trigger alerts based on body motion detection, not for continuous 24/7 recording. System reactions include:

Records/Playback/Delete

Navigate to the 'MESSAGES' page and click 'Alarm Messages' to view all recorded events. You can then select specific records for playback or deletion. Screenshots and manually recorded videos are saved in 'Pictures & Videos' and can be shared from your phone's album.

Two-Way Audio

  1. Activate the audio option in the app.
  2. Press and hold the intercom button to speak.
  3. Release the button to listen.

Multi Device Management

14.1 Multi Camera Management

The ZUMIMALL app allows managing multiple cameras. Tap '+' to add more devices.

14.2 Multi-User Sharing

Notice: An app account cannot log in on multiple devices simultaneously, nor can one camera connect to multiple accounts. However, cameras can be shared between accounts (A to B).

Sharing Steps:

  1. Create a new app account (B) and log in on another phone.
  2. On the main phone (account A), tap 'share'.
  3. Use account A to scan the QR code or input account ID of B.
  4. Accept the sharing on account B and refresh the page to confirm.

Reset

To reset the device, locate the Reset Hole. Keep pressing the reset button for 3-5 seconds until you hear a 'Boogu' sound. After resetting, you may need to reconnect the device.

Trouble Shooting

NO. Description Solution
1 Unable to Connect Check Wi-Fi name and password. Ensure Wi-Fi is 2.4G (5G not supported). Keep camera and phone close to the router during setup.
2 Reset Keep pressing the reset button for 3-5 seconds until 'Boogu' sound is heard. LED blinks slowly in Red.
3 Change to a New Network Remove the camera from the ZUMIMALL APP, press the reset button for factory settings, then reconnect.
4 No person on Alarm Videos Adjust camera sensitivity to 'HIGH'. If objects appear from the corner of the camera's view, adjust the lens angle.
5 Frequent Alarm Adjust the camera alarm sensitivity to 'Low'.
6 No Alarm when someone passes by Ensure motion detection is turned on. Ensure motion occurs within the PIR monitoring area.
7 No Alarm Push Ensure notifications are enabled in both the ZUMIMALL app and your phone's settings.
8 No Alarm Video Ensure an SD Card is inserted or Cloud Service is activated. Tap the triangle button to play videos.
9 Device Offline Charge the camera and reconnect. Ensure Wi-Fi signal strength is above 75%.
10 Battery Durability Reduce the frequency of Motion Detection, Two-way talk, and Live Feed viewing.
11 Unable to Charge Charge for 8-16 hours with a 5V 1A/2A charger. A red LED indicates charging. Verify the USB cable and charger are functional.
12 ZUMIMALL APP Flashback Check if the phone system version is too low or too high.
13 Unable to Register Account Ensure you have selected the correct country during registration.
14 Unable to Add Friend Your account and your friend's account must be in the same country.
