Download & Install App
Download the ZUMIMALL App from Google Play™ or App Store™. You can also scan the provided QR codes with your smartphone's QR code scanner. (Note: Google Play™ is a trademark of Google Inc., App Store™ is a service mark of Apple Inc.)
Important Permissions:
- Allow ZUMIMALL to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN for camera connection.
- Allow ZUMIMALL to receive pushed messages to get motion detection alarms.
Account Registration
New users must sign up for a ZUMIMALL App account using email. Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration.
Camera Setup
5.1 Preparations for Connection
- Insert a Micro SD Card (up to 128GB) to save video clips, or utilize the 7-day free cloud service. No video will be saved without an SD Card or cloud service.
- The camera is compatible only with 2.4G Wi-Fi; it does not support 5G networks.
- Ensure your phone and camera are close to the router during the connection process.
5.2 Connect Camera to App
Follow these steps within the ZUMIMALL App:
- Tap '+' to add a new device.
- Select 'Battery Camera'.
- Tap 'Next' to proceed.
- Reset the device by holding the RESET button for 4-5 seconds until a flashing RED indicator light appears, then tap 'Next'.
- Input your Wi-Fi password for your 2.4G network.
- Prepare for scanning: Remove protective film from the lens. Tap 'Next' to display a QR code. Position your phone 5-8 inches from the camera lens.
- Scan the QR code with the device. A tone will confirm successful scanning.
- The app will then connect the camera to the network and register the device. Ensure the camera and phone remain close to the router for optimal signal.
Camera Installation
Magnetic Ball Holder
- Choose a suitable location for camera housing. Ensure the mounting surface is stable.
- Attach the bracket mount to the desired location using the double-sided adhesive.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before attaching the camera.
- Adjust the camera's viewing angle. For safety, ensure the surface is flat, clean, and indoor.
Outdoor Metal Mount
- Fix the bracket to the desired location using the supplied screw.
- Connect the camera to the bracket using the Joint Lock and secure it.
- Adjust the camera's viewing angle. Ensure the Joint Lock is tightened to prevent the camera from dropping.
Mounting Height: Mount the camera at least 7 feet (2 meters) above the floor and aim it slightly downward for optimal sensor performance.
Monitoring Area
Avoid installing the camera vertically towards moving objects to prevent missed detection or delays. It is recommended to position the PIR sensor with an angle of more than 10 degrees relative to detected objects. The motion sensor is more sensitive to side-to-side movement than direct forward/backward movement.
Important Notes for Reducing False Alarms
- Avoid installing the camera facing strong lights, mirrors, windows, or swimming pools.
- Do not place the camera too close to areas with heavy traffic.
- Maintain a recommended distance of within 10 meters (32ft) between the camera and motion objects.
- Keep the camera away from air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, and projector heat transfer vents.
- Ensure the camera is at least 1 meter away from wireless devices like microwave ovens and Wi-Fi routers to prevent interference.

PIR Body Detection
11.1 Body Detection Alarm Setting
The 'Body Detection' feature is set to 'High' sensitivity by default but can be adjusted. Higher sensitivity provides a longer detection distance and potentially more alarms.

The alert is triggered only when human motion is detected. You can also set 'Day Detection', 'Night Detection', and 'Alert Plan' for specific time periods.
Alarm Notification
This camera is designed to trigger alerts based on body motion detection, not for continuous 24/7 recording. System reactions include:
- Alarm notifications with sounds from the APP.
- Pictures/videos automatically stored in SD Card or Cloud.
Records/Playback/Delete
Navigate to the 'MESSAGES' page and click 'Alarm Messages' to view all recorded events. You can then select specific records for playback or deletion. Screenshots and manually recorded videos are saved in 'Pictures & Videos' and can be shared from your phone's album.
Two-Way Audio
- Activate the audio option in the app.
- Press and hold the intercom button to speak.
- Release the button to listen.
Battery Management
- The camera has a built-in 10000mAh battery, offering 3-4 months of use with 15 daily wake-ups and 10 minutes of video playback per day. Battery life depends on usage frequency; more wake-ups consume battery faster. It's recommended to lower 'Body Detection' sensitivity or turn it off occasionally.
- When the battery level drops below 20%, the app will send a charging reminder.
- Charge the camera using a DC 5V 1A/2A phone charger for approximately 6 hours until fully charged. (Adapter not included).
Multi Device Management
14.1 Multi Camera Management
The ZUMIMALL app allows managing multiple cameras. Tap '+' to add more devices.
14.2 Multi-User Sharing
Notice: An app account cannot log in on multiple devices simultaneously, nor can one camera connect to multiple accounts. However, cameras can be shared between accounts (A to B).
Sharing Steps:
- Create a new app account (B) and log in on another phone.
- On the main phone (account A), tap 'share'.
- Use account A to scan the QR code or input account ID of B.
- Accept the sharing on account B and refresh the page to confirm.
Reset
To reset the device, locate the Reset Hole. Keep pressing the reset button for 3-5 seconds until you hear a 'Boogu' sound. After resetting, you may need to reconnect the device.
