Operation and Usage
Powering On
After connecting the intelligent solenoid valve to mains power, the WIFI indicator light flashes, indicating it is in the working state.
WIFI Pairing
Long press the WIFI button for over 5 seconds. The WIFI enters the distribution network state, indicated by the WIFI light flashing rapidly. Successful network distribution is confirmed by a solid WIFI light.
Manual Switch Operation
- Method 1: Press the "On/Off" button on top of the valve to open or close it automatically.
- Method 2: Pull the manual release lever down fully and hold it. Then, move the valve to the desired open or closed position and release the lever. Note: The valve cannot be turned if the manual release lever is not pulled down completely. If the lever does not return to its original position after loosening, slightly pull the valve wrench to reset the manual release lever.
Solenoid Valve Control
The solenoid valve can be opened or closed manually, via the mobile APP, or through connected devices such as water immersion detectors, gas alarms, door controllers, smart locks, or scene panels.
Power Outage Behavior
When mains power fails and is restored, the intelligent solenoid valve will automatically enter the closed state.
Remote Control Configuration
Adding Configuration (Pairing)
- When the RF indicator light is off, press and hold the "Learn Button" for more than 3 seconds, then release it. The RF indicator light will illuminate, entering the learning state.
- Trigger the remote control device to learn pairing. The RF light will flash twice and then turn off upon successful pairing.
Notes:
1. If there is no operation within 15 seconds after entering the learning pairing state, the system will automatically exit the learning state.
2. A short press of the "Learn Button" will exit the learning state immediately.
3. When a successfully learned remote control device is triggered, the RF indicator light will go out directly, exiting the learning state.
Deleting Configuration
Press and hold the "Learn Button" for more than 10 seconds until the RF indicator flashes 5 times and the light turns off. The deletion is successful. Note: When performing the deletion configuration operation, all previously learned remote control devices will be deleted.
APP Download, Installation, and Setup
APP Download and Installation
- Download and install the "eWeLink" app by scanning a QR code or searching for it in the application market and APP store. Register an account.
Adding Equipment
- In the APP's "All Devices" interface, tap the "+" icon to enter the add device interface.
- Select "Quick Mode" and tap "Next" to enter WIFI settings.
Screenshots illustrate the eWeLink app interface for adding a device, selecting the WIFI network, entering the password, and the pairing process.
WIFI Pairing Mode
- Enter the mobile phone's WIFI password.
- Long press the WIFI button on the solenoid valve for 5 seconds and release. The blue indicator light will flash quickly, entering the pairing state. Tap "Next" in the APP to initiate automatic network pairing. After successful addition, rename the solenoid valve (e.g., "Kitchen Solenoid Valve").
APP Control
- From the "All Devices" screen in the APP, tap the device icon to control the switch solenoid valve.
- Tap the blank area of the solenoid valve control interface to access functions such as On/Off, Timing, Delay, and Sharing.
- In the valve control interface, tap the top-right menu icon (represented by three dots) to access "Setting", "Delete", and "Operation Record". Tap "Setting" to compile and modify the device name and upgrade firmware. Tap "Delete" to remove the device. Tap "Operation Record" to view the control history.
Voice Control Setup
This product supports voice control via smart speakers such as Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Tmall Elf.
For Tmall Elf integration: Download the Tmall Elf APP, install the smart speaker according to its manual, and then bind your eWeLink account. Edit the device name in the eWeLink app to enable voice control.
Precautions
- The voltage used should not exceed the rated voltage indicated on the electromagnetic valve controller.
- For pipe gas users, the original home ball valve should be designed and installed in a location convenient for manual switch operation. The valve control manipulator should be installed on the original household gas ball valve. The two semi-circular parts of the bracket should hold the valve without the handle. The two handles should hold the mounting ears of the manipulator. The long end of one bracket hole should clamp onto the side of the mounting ear with the guiding strip. Use two M6*16 hex bolts to screw into the bracket's screw holes. Install both brackets initially without fully tightening the bolts. Symmetrically hold the two jib screws on both sides of the valve handle and tighten the two M4 nuts using a Phillips screwdriver and a 7# wrench. Adjust the bracket's three-dimensional position to ensure the manipulator's output shaft and the valve shaft center line are as coaxial as possible. Use a 10# fork wrench or socket wrench to tighten the two M6*16 hex bolts. The manipulator's outer casing should not be close to the wall surface; maintain a gap of approximately one palm's width (20mm) from the wall.
- Electromagnetic valve controllers installed in kitchens and bathrooms, which often experience water and fumes, should ideally be fitted with a splash-proof box or plastic baffle on the control panel to prevent short circuits caused by oil and water vapor intrusion.
- If the gas valve switch is stuck, pull down the clutch and manually turn the valve handle 90°. The valve should operate smoothly. If the fault cannot be eliminated, please inform the gas supplier.
- If the valve control manipulator fails to automatically open or close, check the lead wire and connectors for breaks. If there is no external damage, check if the switch is stuck. If it is not stuck, please inform the supplier.
