Checklist Before Using the Device

• Your smart phone or tablet has connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with internet.
• You have the correct Wi-Fi PWD.
• Your smart phone or tablet must have access to the App Store or Google Play.
• Your router is MAC-open.

Getting Started with the EWelink App

Start by using the "EWelink" APP.

Device Pairing Modes

Mode A: If the indicator light blinks quickly 3 times and stays on for 1 second, open your Ewelink app and tap to the next step. No need to long press the manual switch.

Mode B: If the indicator light blinks slowly (flashes once every 3 seconds), long press the manual switch until it blinks rapidly as in Mode A. Then, open your Ewelink app and tap to the next step.

Download the EWelink App

Download the EWelink app from the App Store or Google Play.

EWelink Account

Register an EWelink account. If you already have an EWelink account, simply log in.

Power Up and Device Status

Once powered on, observe the status of the blue indicator lights. Typically, there are two distinct statuses indicating the device's connection state.

Add Device Flow to Mobile App

1. In the EWelink app, select "Quick Pairing".
2. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
3. Name your device (e.g., "1CH Smart Switch", "Bedroom light").

When the Wi-Fi LED is continuously lit, the device is online.

You can control the device by tapping the on/off buttons within the APP. The status of the manual switch is also displayed in real-time on the APP.

Device Description and Functionality

The 1CH-WiFi Smart Switch is a compact, rectangular device designed for smart home automation. It features terminals for power input (AC 85V-250V) and output (Relay), along with connections for GND, VCC, and USB. A manual switch is present on the device, along with indicator lights for Wi-Fi connectivity and RF pairing.

APP Functions

The EWelink app provides comprehensive control and monitoring. From the app's home screen, you can view device status, temperature (e.g., 12.8°C), and other metrics (e.g., 49%). Options available for each device include renaming, Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates, sharing device control, viewing logs, configuring advanced settings like 'Inching Settings', and deleting the device.

Remote Control Matching

To pair a remote control with the smart switch:

1. Hold the manual switch on the device for 3 seconds until the RF pairing indicator (red light) turns on.
2. Long press the desired button on your remote control.
3. Release the remote control button once the matching is successful.

Clear Remote Code

To unpair or clear existing remote control codes:

1. Long press the manual switch for 15 seconds. The RF pairing indicator will remain on.
2. Release the manual switch when the RF pairing indicator starts flashing rapidly 5 times.

Note: The matching and clearing code functions are exclusively available for switches/modules with RF capabilities.

Timer Functions

The EWelink app supports various automation schedules, including single loop timers, repeat timers, and countdown timers, allowing for automatic control based on specific times or conditions.

Troubleshooting

Solutions for Product Matching and Offline Failures:

If you encounter issues with product matching or the device going offline, consult the Ewelink app's help resources. Navigate to the app's homepage, click the icon in the lower right corner, then select 'Message' > 'Guide' or 'Profile' > 'Ewelink Support' for detailed instructions.

If the problem persists after following the troubleshooting steps, try re-adding the device. Connect your phone to a personal hotspot from another phone and attempt the pairing process again.
