Downloading the eWeLink App and Pairing with Your Phone
Download the eWeLink app from Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Register using your email address. The app can be switched to Czech after installation.
Pairing Requirements:
- Your mobile phone must be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Pairing will not work on 5GHz, 3G, or LTE networks. You can switch back to other networks after successful pairing.
- During pairing, your mobile phone must be connected to a single internet source: the 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Troubleshooting WiFi Connection Issues:
- Some phones automatically switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. If possible, disable the 5GHz band temporarily in your phone's settings during pairing. If this option is not available, you can use a second, older phone (which may not have this switching feature) to pair the device. Install eWeLink on the second phone, log in with your account, pair the device, then log out and log back in on your primary phone. The device pairs to your eWeLink account, not the phone.
- Some phones prioritize mobile data over WiFi. To avoid this, disable mobile data or enable Airplane mode during pairing. Re-enable mobile data after successful pairing.
- The Sonoff device should be physically close to your phone (within approximately 1 meter) during pairing. Remote control will be possible after successful pairing.
- Your router must support MAC address filtering (though this is generally not a barrier for standard setups).
Pairing Steps:
- Connect the switch to a power source.
- Launch the eWeLink app and tap the "+" button (Add Device) in the center at the bottom.
- Select the pairing method. The default is "Quick Pairing Mode".
- Put the device into pairing mode: Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Sonoff device for 7 seconds until the LED indicator blinks rapidly.
- Tap "Next" at the bottom of the app.
- Enter your home WiFi network name and password, then tap "Next".
- Wait for the device to pair with your phone. This may take up to 3 minutes. If pairing fails, repeat the process.
After successful pairing, you can rename the device in the app. Initially, it may appear as "Offline" for a few minutes until it connects to the network. Once connected, it will appear in your device list and can be controlled.
If pairing fails, the app may offer:
- Read FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
- Try Compatible Pairing Mode
Compatible Pairing Mode:
- Turn the device off and then on again.
- Press and hold the hardware button for 5-7 seconds until the green LED blinks slowly. Release the button.
- Immediately press and hold the button again for another 5-7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly and continuously.
- Proceed with the pairing steps as in Quick Pairing Mode.
WiFi LED Indicator Status:
- Blinks every second: Device has not connected to WiFi.
- Blinks twice per second: Device connected to WiFi but failed to connect to the server. Check your network connection.
Inching Mode
Inching mode allows the switch to turn ON for a set duration (e.g., 1 second) and then automatically turn OFF. This is configured in the eWeLink app under "Settings" as "Delayed Turn Off".
There are two ways to wire for inching mode, depending on whether you want a momentary ON or OFF pulse:
- Turn ON for 1s and then automatically turn OFF: Connect the COM and NO terminals. When the ON/OFF button is pressed or the switch is activated in the app, the connected device will turn on for 1 second and then automatically turn off.
Controlling the Sonoff Device in the App
In the device list, select "My Devices" or the custom name you assigned.
The device detail screen shows an ON/OFF toggle button indicating the device's current state.
The bottom bar offers the following functions:
- Share: Allows you to share device control with other eWeLink users. Each user needs their own account. The owner of the device (the one who paired it) can share by tapping "Share" and entering the other user's email address. Only the owner can initiate sharing. Logging into the same account on multiple phones will automatically log out the other device.
- Timer (Hours): Set specific times for the device to turn ON or OFF. Tap "+ New Timer", set the year, repetition (once or specific days), and the desired action (ON/OFF) at the desired time. Save the settings. To change the state again after a period, create another timer.
- Countdown: Set a countdown timer for the device to change its state. Tap "+ Add Countdown", set the delay (days, hours, minutes), and the desired action (ON/OFF).
Device State After Power Failure
In the device detail screen, tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner, select "Setting", then "Power State". Here you can choose:
- ON: The device will always turn ON after a power outage.
- OFF: The device will always remain OFF after a power outage.
- Maintain: The device will resume its previous state (ON or OFF) after a power outage.
Deleting a Device from the Phone
A Sonoff device can only be paired with one phone at a time. If you intend to transfer ownership (e.g., sell the device), you must first delete it from your eWeLink app. This is also required for warranty claims or returns. Failure to delete the device may prevent acceptance of the claim or return.
Warranty
This product has undergone rigorous testing. If a defect occurs, please contact the seller. The warranty period is 24 months from the date of purchase. The seller and manufacturer are not liable for defects caused by improper use or rough handling. Such damages are not covered by the warranty.

It must be handed over to appropriate collection points for ecological disposal. For more details, contact your local authority or the nearest collection center.
