Suggested Wiring Configuration
This document provides an addendum for the regular installation of the Fortin EVO ONE module, detailing suggested wiring configurations for the Cadillac Escalade, model years 2007-2014.

Firmware and Installation Options
The current firmware version is 70.[41] (GM Minimum). To add the firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, sold separately.
Bypass Programming Options

Remote Starter Options
If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin:
Option A11: Hood trigger (Output Status). Contact de capot (état de sortie).
Program Remote Starter Option for R.S. OEM Remote Stand Alone

Mandatory Installation Items
Hood Pin Status: The hood pin switch (included) must be installed if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. Set Function A11 to OFF.
Security Sticker: The security sticker is an essential security element and must be installed.
Notice: The installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin and the sticker are essential security elements and must be installed.
Technician Warning: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. A wrong connection can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Connector Identification
The following connectors are key to the installation:
- Ignition Connector*: Connecteur d'ignition*. Wires include (+)ACCESSORY, (~)V DATA, (+)IGNITION, (+)12V BATTERY.
- Ignition Barrel: Barillet d'ignition.
- Transponder Connector: Connecteur du transpondeur. Wires include (+)12V IMMO, (~)CAN SW.
- Parking Light Switch: Feux de stationnement.
Wiring Connection Guide
This section details the wiring connections for the EVO ONE module to the Cadillac Escalade.
Main Harness Connections (EVO ONE Module):
- (+)Ignition: Yellow wire to A1
- Purple wire to A2
- Purple/White wire to A3
- Green wire to A4
- White wire to A5
- Orange wire to A6
- Orange/Black wire to A7
- Dark Blue wire to A8
- Red/Blue wire to A9
- Light Blue/Black wire to A10
- Black wire to A11
- (-)Parking Lights: Pink wire to A12
- Yellow/Black wire to A13
- Brown/White wire to A14
- (-)HOOD: Pink/Black wire to A15
- Purple/Yellow wire to A16
- Green/White wire to A17
- V DATA: Green/Red wire to A18
- White/Black wire to A19
- Light Blue wire to A20
- (+)Accessory: White wire to E1
- (+)12V: Orange wire to E2
- (-)Ground: Red wire to E3

CAN SW Connections:
- C5: Brown
- C4: Gray/Black

- D6: White/Red
- D5: White/Blue

- D3: Yellow/Red
- D2: Yellow/Blue
- D1: Yellow/Green
Important Notes:
- Automatic Transmission Mode: CUT LOOP FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MODE. COUPEZ LA BOUCLE POUR LE MODE TRANSMISSION AUTOMATIQUE.
- Power Source: Use a more powerful 12V source if your system requires more than 2 Amp. Utilisez une source 12V plus puissante si votre système à besoin de plus de 2 Amp.
- Ground Connection: Connect to a solid ground point.
Connector Views:
- Ignition Connector (6-pin): Back view of black connector.
- Transponder Connector (4-pin): Back view of black connector.
- Parking Light Switch (16-pin): Back view of black connector at the steering column.
Note: The connector may differ from the one shown.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure 1/2
Follow these steps to program the key bypass:
- Step 1: Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector). The Blue, Red, Yellow, and Blue & Red LEDs will illuminate alternately.
- Step 2: Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1.
- Step 3: Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Step 4: Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Step 5: Press and release the programming button once (1x). The Blue LED will turn OFF. The YELLOW and RED LEDs will alternate.
- Step 6: Turn the key to the OFF position.
- Step 7: Disconnect all connectors and after the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure 2/2
- Step 8: Use the tool: FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu. This requires a Microsoft Windows computer with an Internet connection or a smartphone with an internet provider (charges may apply). Parts required are not included.
- Step 9: After DCryptor programming is completed, go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-pins (Data-Link) connector, and then all the remaining connectors.
The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter / Alarm Verification Procedure
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.
Remote Starter Functionality
Follow these steps for remote starter functionality:
- All doors must be closed.
- Remote start the vehicle.
- Unlock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote.
- Insert and Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
- Press the brake pedal.
- The vehicle can now be put into gear and driven.
