Product Overview and Vehicle Compatibility
This document provides the regular installation guide for the Fortin EVO ONE module, an all-in-one remote starter, alarm, immobilizer bypass, and data interface module.
Vehicle Compatibility: NISSAN Sentra equipped with Push-to-Start ignition, model years 2013-2019.
Module Information:
- Bypass Firmware Version: 72.[48]
- To add firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Programmable Options
Remote Starter Option: Program remote starter functionality.
R.S. OEM REMOTE STAND ALONE Option: Program for OEM remote stand-alone start.
Bypass Options:
- C1: OEM Remote status (Lock/Unlock) monitoring.
- D6: Push-to-Start functionality.
- A11: Hood trigger (Output Status).
Important Notes
The vehicle's OEM remote and SmartKey remain operable during remote start.
Mandatory Installation Requirements
Hood Pin Contact: The hood pin switch (included) must be installed if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. If the hood pin is not functional or not installed, set Function A11 to OFF (❌).
Security Sticker: The security sticker (included ✔️) is a mandatory safety element and must be installed.
WARNING: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

Automatic Transmission Wiring Connection
This section details the wiring for automatic transmission vehicles. Note the instruction to CUT LOOP FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MODE.

Manual Transmission Wiring Connection
This section details the wiring for manual transmission vehicles. Key connections include:

Key Bypass Programming Procedure (Part 1/2)
- Preparation: Remove the valet key from the back of the OEM remote. Remove the battery from the OEM remote. Keep other OEM remotes at least 3 meters (10 feet) away from the vehicle.
- Initial Connection: Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector). Observe LEDs: Blue, Red, Yellow, and Blue & Red will illuminate alternatively. Release the programming button when the LED is YELLOW.
- Connector Insertion: Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Programming Button Press: Press and release the programming button three (3x) times. The YELLOW LED will flash 3 times each second. Wait for the YELLOW LED to turn ON solid.
- Remote Placement: Place the OEM remote (no battery) close to the front of the START/STOP button, as shown. The transponder is located behind the logo.
- Vehicle Type Specific Steps:
- Automatic Transmission: Press and release the foot-brake pedal. The RED LED turns ON, and the YELLOW LED turns OFF. Press the START/STOP button twice to turn ON the ignition. Press the START/STOP button once to turn OFF the ignition. Wait until the "press brake" message disappears (may take up to 12 seconds).
- Manual Transmission: Follow specific steps involving brake pedal and START/STOP button presses, observing LED indicators.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure (Part 2/2)
- Remote Interaction: Hold the OEM remote close to the front of the START/STOP button. Press and release the foot-brake pedal. The RED LED is ON, and the BLUE LED turns ON. Press the START/STOP button twice to turn ON the ignition. Press the START/STOP button once to turn OFF the ignition.
- Ignition ON: Press the START/STOP button twice to turn ON the ignition. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly. The RED LED turns OFF.
- Ignition OFF: Press the START/STOP button once to turn OFF the ignition. Wait until the BLUE LED flashes slowly.
- Disconnection: Disconnect all connectors, including the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.
- Software Programming: Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool with a computer (Microsoft Windows, Internet connection required) or smartphone to visit the DCryptor menu.
- Reconnection: AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING IS COMPLETED, reconnect the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or 4-pins (Data-Link) connector, and then all remaining connectors.
The module is now programmed.
Verification: Test the remote starter by starting the vehicle remotely.
Remote Starter Functionality
Starting the Vehicle:
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Use the remote to start the vehicle.
Unlocking Doors: Unlock the doors using either the OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the proximity remote.
Entering the Vehicle: Enter the vehicle with the Intelligent Key.
Driving: The vehicle is now ready to be put into gear and driven.
Note: If the vehicle is not unlocked with one of these conditions, the remote-starter will shut down as soon as any door is opened.
